Today, I received a comment on this blog from Cooknengr .. and knowing that he normally doesn’t comment.. i took a quick look at it.. to find out the most awesome news . . he can give me to rejoice and end 2008 with a lot of laughter and joy. You see love can happen online .. but it has to be .. like FF & Cooknengr who came to know each other online .. and work hard on their relationship… and finally tying the knot. I’m truly happy for them and proud of them for overcoming so many obstacles together to get where they are right now. Unlike some that i’ve met/seen online .. or those i know personally in this town. .where folks jump into a relationship without even knowing anything about the other person. Some I know pack and move to another country .. without planning or knowing what they are getting themselves into (Kahwin cowboy type). Unfortunately, i cannot call that love . .and in fact disapprove of it myself.

Love comes in different form. . but love needs a strong foundation. Without that strong foundation and understanding of each other, the cultural differences, you are just aiming for break up… in the future. May not be near. .but it will come. So yes.. you can find love online.. but like i said.. in any kind of relationship.. it’s an uphill task.. what more a marriage.. a relationship so in such close proximity. One needs to know not only the good .. but the bad.. and be able to accept it.. and lived with it. So here’s to FF & Cooknengr..!!! A happy and blissful marriage .. and everlasting love to 2 very adventurous bloggers that I’ve come to know for a long time. Both of you really, really made me so happy for you and boy..!! can you two keep a secret..!!!!!

Sorry , I haven’t been posting, there is just too much to do, before Christmas. The store is constantly busy.. and quite overwhelmed when PB isn’t around in this store (if you know what i mean). Anyhow, this year .. i told PB .. that his mission is to keep his promise to Vien from United States. So here, you see PB going thru’ boxes to find the perfect fit for his mission.

I kid you not.. when i tell you he was going thru’ packing boxes.

So he found one..!! hurry..!! part of his mission completed.. but not 100% yet.

There you go.. all done and gone into the mail ALREADY..!! UNBELIEVABLE..!!! The rest of my gifts were bought online.

Sorry, I haven’t updated for a few days, it had been crazy busy here. With Chloe in school now, she is like a social butterfly, invited for birthday parties.. after birthday parties. On top of it, I am actively raising fund for her school playground & library and supporting her school Home & School Fundraising .. with selling tickets for the Wii. So far we have sold 60 books, 3 tickets a book, so you see how busy we have been.

On the business front, it had been crazy here, everyone looking for presents for Christmas.. we never got a breather the whole week, our store is packed. And of course, there is this thing going on with the lobster fishermen in town that we are encouraged to have lobsters instead of turkey this Christmas. Yes at $3/pound.. you can’t really blame the fishermen and the owners to be upset but having said that.. the fishermen are always whiny regardless.

Presents are arriving for Chloe from all over the world and I haven’t got a chance to sort it out yet and take pictures of. The latest is from Anna in the USA .. thank you for the bento set, I haven’t had a chance to take a picture of it since we are open even on Sundays - The boss is a slave driver - i tell everyone .. hahahahha!!! I’ve resorted to using Etsy or any online store to send presents, from the Body Shop to David’s cookies etc. So if i missed out.. please don’t hate me. On the other hand, i put PB on task to keep his promise to Vien .. from a year ago, i berated him Vien, so I will have a post up .. to show you .. he even packed it up already today.. hhahahahahahah1!! be surprised Vien..!!! We never forget, just so busy .. running a business and having a kid in school. And I cannot thank my sponsors and advertising company enough for the many jobs they give me. My sincerest thanks..!! Save My Boys is about a mother trying to get her boys back from Lancaster’s County’s Children & Youth Agency. It is heartbreaking to me .. as a mother myself to hear stories like that .. and more so from someone that I’ve come to know and respect in the blogging community. Jenn from Jenn.nu is pleading for everyone to help her family, her mother lost her sons (who have special needs) and she a sister.. who was all willing to be legal guardian.. as promised by these social worker.. when they were taken away .. and then denied the rights.

As a mother or a parent, I am sure you can feel their anguished and their hopelessness .. but all is not lost.. because you can help. You can help by spreading the word around.. about this case. You can help by joining their FaceBook group and letting these people know that we know what is happening. If you are a parent, a brother, a sister.. or grandparents, you can help, by just dropping by Jenn’s blog or her mother’s and leave them some encouraging words.

You need not be a US citizen to help. The internet is a very powerful tool..!!! By creating awareness on your own blog and helping to spread the word is what you can do. HELP, PLEASE..!

Being a Singaporean but living overseas makes me a lot more aware of what is going on back home. Afterall, I don’t want to miss any CPF top up right..?? A girlfriend shared with me some of the published pictures on The New Paper, Singapore most circulated daily newspaper and with 4 million folks in Singapore.. i bet .. Sun Tan is getting some unwanted attention ..?? or i could be wrong.. she might be basking in delight.

All the pictures and videos that i’ve seen online were those that saw her enjoying every bit of the exhibitionist in her. Of course, the guy in the pictures with her.. is so Ah Beng..!! look at the shirt he was wearing..!! *faint*. Lesson to be learned here.. and I’ll have to make sure i tell my kid when she is old enough.. and the babysitter.. never EVER take nude pictures with your boyfriend.. who may turn out to be an evil ex-b/f. I’m very sorry you had to go through a confusing situation whereby you received both a tipoff and a request to remove post, all from the same email account. The person who tipped you off is not me.
Clearly someone out there is determined to bring total destruction to me and his/her aim has been achieved. I’m in complete devastation now. Emotionally and mentally really very traumatized. Everything is in ruins for me and my life is over. I am sure that person/ those people know about this and they are feeling extremely pleased now.
My reaction to seek the authorities for help is purely out of loss, not aiming to retaliate. None of this was anything that I wanted. I never meant for anything like this to happen. I agree that you are every bit indemnified as you have stated and basically, you are the only who can propagate or check the news.
Hence, it wasn’t my intention to aggravate you or the matter. I’m genuinely intent on beseeching you to have the post removed, rather to get to the root of the matter. I am equally as confused as you are regarding conflicting emails from this email account. I’m more so distraught as the moment you received the tipoff marked the beginning of the great collapse for me and my life is in shambles now. For all the anger, annoyance and confusion you are/have experienced, I apologize.
I sincerely hope you will stop the pursuit of anything related the issue of suntan. The last thread of my sanity depends on the matter being dropped.

Update : I had about 2000+ entries to read from my bloglines… and i’m now down to 940. So yes.. i’ve left alot of footprints everywhere. Lying down and reading blogs . ain’t fun.. coz’ i sometimes.. like to look at the food pictures a little more clearly. But i promised to visit asap. I am quite amused yet a wee bit disturbed when i see how some ppl would write the stuff they normally wouldn’t .. if they weren’t trying to make a few bucks on the net and to be “famous”. There is one particular blog I don’t visit nor read no more. Why..?? lets just say we have different values and to me it is definitely not worth writing those stuff just to drive traffic to your blogs.

It is nice to be known as the famous blogger or the blogger who makes the most money .. etc. But the money that some “famous” and “self-proclaimed” pro-blogger is actually terribly peanuts. I know that some ppl loved to be known or rather boast but what is the price are you paying for this so-called fame..?? 5 yrs down the road.. can you really face your children and say that it was alright to write all those stuff .. on the net..?? What is your price of fame..?? I think if i had to resort to do what one blogger did to create traffic and fame.. it would be a price too high. It’s alright .. if I am an unknown blogger and not famous .. i rather like the way things are.. as long as I don’t have to wake up each morning.. and wonder what hate mails I might be getting or someone announcing to the public that they are planning to chop you to pieces or kidnap your kids.

So what is your price of fame..?? how far would you go.. to make yourself or perceived yourself as being the famous and the elite…??
