Wednesday Morning @ School
This morning.. we had a little bit of crying.. but she was alright.. after we reached school. At recess time, we went to visit her.. although PB stayed in the car.. for most of the time .. go figure..! Anyways.. i also got to see some of the things.. that Chloe had been telling me about .. with her school friends.. and how one would pull on her jacket.. to not let her slide down the slide. I was there when it happened.. and Chloe looked at me helpless. I guess one of the reasons she didn’t like school that much was the rough play.
To some parents.. it is ok.. because their kids can handle it. But chloe had never learned to play rough with anyone… so i think i must come as a shock for her. And when chloe first told me about it.. I had told Chloe what to say to her friend.. if she did that.. but Chloe didn’t want to say anything to her friend.. and had asked me to talk to her friend’s mother. Once again, I’m gonna have to bring this up to her form teacher today or tomorrow… when i see her.
Oh dear… this, unfortunately is part and parcel of school life. G had a hard time dealing with this, and I ended up scolding her classmates many times for bully her. Until the teachers told me not to confront the kids anymore. They will handle the situation on my behalf should I complain, which was unsatisfactory to me because I didn’t think they tried hard enough. So I taught G how to protect herself. I don’t think that means I’m training her to be a bully too. Just self-defence, you know?

good to hear that you may send chloe to a preschool after Christmas. Maybe less stressful for her there:)
