Yesterday.. the local mall had a mega sale till midnite..!!! and we did get a wee bit excited too.. because we had thought they were gonna be like the ones in US. But darn sad man..!! the sale was the most pathetic sale i had ever come across.. and boy.. !!! was that announcement over the specials annoying..!!!! they didn’t even have any promotional products to give away.. plus.. they even short changed our bonus points, that we had to fix up the next day. Sad..!! if they can’t get their act together.. I’ll say not to have any MegaSale..!! so disappointing..!!

It breaks my heart to see that after so many hours .. her eyes still looked so swollen.. from her crying this morning.. and more crying from yesterday.. because she didn’t wanna go to school. We still cannot figure out why.. and i really hope this doesn’t continue.. else i will either have to quit the store..and go to school with her.. or let her stay home for another year. Heartbreaking..! I think if PB leaves me.. for another woman.. it wouldn’t be as heartbreaking as this.

You see lah..!! and the teachers think she is not smart.??? she can make her own song some more.. tune and lyrics. We didn’t even teach her .. to do the song .. and all. Happy as ever ..as if nothing happened earlier this morning.. but i know she wasn’t truly showing how she feels. Like we spend every waking hour with her .. by our side.. besides the going to school time.. so i don’t understand this at all.

At 43 I’m definitely no spring chicken, although my kid is only going to be 5 yrs old in a month’s time. The spouse is 8 yrs younger and to say that I have great confidence about myself and my looks, well lets just say “who are you kidding woman..!!! ” Putting up a brave front in front of customers and friends is quite alright but when I am alone or in front of the mirror after a shower, I cannot really lie to myself right? I was just telling the spouse that I should go for botox (and he called me crazy) this Christmas, since there is an anti aging Dr in our area. The spouse said to make out my Christmas list and he would think about it (but he still thinks I’m crazy).

Beauty is not all about looking beautiful but also about having the confidence to do a job well, driving you to stay healthy thus improving your love life and every other aspect of your life. So if your goal is to improve your way of life and your self-esteem, then you should definitely look into a specialist in this area. Well.. we had another meltdown yesterday at school.. where the Principal had to call us into the school.. because Chloe was crying so bad.. she was turning hysterical. But from the time we hung up the phone.. till we arrived at school.. they had managed to calm her down again. And according to her teacher, it was 1.5hrs.. and then she was ok.. for the rest of the day. But when we picked her up.. she was noticeably upset and had been crying.

This morning.. while having breakfast.. she again started crying that she didn’t wanna go to school. We broke down.. with threats .. about canceling her birthday party and throwing out her toys. She claimed that she can do her learning at home.. and that she remembered what to do .. for writing and all. And more crying. We arrived in school at 8.36am… after much huffing and puffing from PB and me. And she still was crying when we handed her over to her teacher. It had been almost an hour now.. and we haven’t heard from the school… so we’ll see what happens next. Read on.. because you might have kids going to school soon.

Being a mom is not easy.. as you can all see and to lighten up, moms must all wear funny t shirts. Why you ask me..?? pretty simple.. it can get stressful.. when the kid doesn’t wanna listen to you or the spouse kinda dirty the place or even when the babysitter doesn’t show up on time. So with a funny t-shirt.. it can work actually kill 2 birds with one stone, get the message across.. or make things less stressful for you. So i’m all for moms to wear funny t-shirts on bad hair days.

Well.. !!! Christmas came early for me.. as you can see… woohoo..!!! Check out who sent me this package and what is in it .. on my food blog. She is just an awesome person.. and not the first time sending stuff to me. Blogging is awesome..!!! i met so many wonderful friends online.

Well.. one would think that after the hospital episode on Sunday.. we would get some good rest on Monday..since the Princess P.I.T.A was feeling better.. when she went to bed. But the whole day.. she said she didn’t want Katelynn.. our babysitter. No idea why.. and i’m very sure that Keegan didn’t do nothing to her. So she slept like 10 something.. and woke up at 12am .. because she fell off her bed.. and started bawling non-stop for an hour.

Nothing we said nor do .. could appeased her… and she wanted to be carried.. and not just carry her.. by sitting on my lap. And she didn’t want daddy to carry, she wanted mummy. And you all know .. that i was trying not to exert myself because of my hysterectomy and another emergency operation some 5 months ago. But never mind, i carried her.. to try to appease her.. and walked her around the house.. and of course, she sensed that i was upset.. and then wanted daddy. She quietened down .. after an hour.. and wanted me to sleep in the TV room with her.. which i did.. so that PB can get some rest. But I tell yer . .the darn floor was hard on the sides and back. I didn’t get much rest.. for she woke up a few times.. and finally woke up at 8am. PB took over .. i slept for 2hrs. Possessed or what..??

I don’t know if you remember Jenn who used to work for us .. and drives a truck and a motorbike that even PB can’t write on it .. because it is too big for him. And by the way, Jenn is a tiny little gal.. who was not even 20 when she worked for us. But man..!! that girl had so many motorcycle accident.. i think she will do well with having the number for motorcycle accident lawyers Los Angeles. Well, anyhow.. just the other day, we heard she was engaged to be married. We had seen her not too long ago.. but she never mentioned it. Oh well.. ! i better not be kapo.. and ask her about it. Afterall, she will tell us when she is ready eh.

We sat at the hospital for 6hrs..to see the doctor for 5mins tops..!! JOY..!!! Not! Anyhow..it’s 6.11am here.. and we were just woken up by the princess.. i’ll write more later.. !

Chloe was at the town hall with her school decorating the Christmas Tree. She had such a wonderful time.. and if you want to see more pictures.. you should go over to her blog : www.monsterbrat.com. I really liked that the school is so gung-ho about bringing them out.. to experience new things all the time. Can you spot Chloe..??

Chloe all hurdle up with the big friend she had for partner for the day. It was really good planning on the school part to bring the older kids to look after the younger ones.. because they did have a traffic light to cross. I am pretty pleased with the organisation .. and truly believed that Chloe will do good in this school. Afterall, there is only 12 students in her class eh.

So yes, I had written earlier about Chloe not wanting to go to school since Tuesday.. and was quite paranoid in the morning to go to school. She had started with complaining that her tummy wasn’t feeling good.. to her stuff nose which was already so much better from 2 weeks ago. She had her relieve teacher call us on Tuesday .. and we went to pick her up… even before we finished our breakfast. Of course, we went to pick her up.. and when she got home she was perfectly fine. An hour later, we tried to send her back to school.. at 11am.. but as we neared the school.. she complained that her tummy hurt again. We turned around.. and went to the store again.. and she was perfectly well again.

The next day.. she didn’t want to go to school again.. and pooped like 3 times at home.. and as soon as we went into her school.. she said she needed to go to the toilet.. and started crying. And for the rest of the week.. she was like that.. didn’t wanna go to school in the morning. Seriously, we didn’t know what to make outta it, afterall, like i said before she was a happy kid.. that LOVED school.

Ok.. lesson #1 .. all mummies who are having kids going to school soon. Never tell the teacher in front of your kid.. that she can call .. if she ain’t feeling good. You see, as soon as I said that.. Chloe picked it up right away.. and made the relieve teacher call us. Lesson #2 .. do not panic because there must be a reason for it. Lesson #3 .. Do not think that her tummy ache ain’t true .. because anxiety can cause tummy ache and hives ( which Chloe developed on Wednesday). Lesson #4 .. TALK TO HER TEACHER .. they can shed some light into all these anxiety issues ( we did .. and it did shed some light). Lesson #5 .. continue to send your kid to school.. don’t let them get their way… and for us .. we brought her to see her family doctor .. just in case .. there was more to it. Ok.. i’m sure you wanna know how it turned out right.. well.. that will be for another day .. and another post.. because Chloe doesn’t have school till Tuesday.. i shall report back.

Truth be told.. we were kinda fretting this day .. but it turned out a lot better than we thought it would. With all the analysis done on poor Chloe.. we really thought that we had better pull her outta class and put her in pre-school for the rest of the year.. and start all over again.

As per her form teachers report.. she is doing pretty well now.. and coming along nicely. Sure it is a little bit slow.. but she is coming along. Besides that, her form teacher had reported that she was a very pleasant girl and very cheerful most of the time.. till this Tuesday… where she didn’t wanna go to school. We had told her .. it’s probably because of the toilet issue they had on Monday. And we will continue to monitor Chloe for the next few days.. and we’ll go from there. Overall, we are very happy with the meeting .. and it really eased my mind a lot. On the same note, I am on a mission for Chloe’s school.. but that would be for another day .. and another post.. when I had finalized the details.

Every year during Christmas we really try and give gifts that mean something to everyone, not just any gift we pick up randomly. And don’t even try to ask me to scrub it even harder.. because we did.. and that hurt her.. and she refuses to have it scrubbed no more.

We are preparing to meet Chloe’s teacher this Friday for a Parents and Teacher’s meet. 2.5 months into school. .and already a meeting. Well.. this is not the first meeting.. we had another general one earlier .. maybe a month and a half ago. But her Adaptations Report was updated today.. lets start with Chloe’s strength in school.

Chloe enjoys communicating with others. She is cooperative, friendly and helpful to other students. She also pays attentions to instructions and tries her best. She is pleasant, interact well with peers and provides positive reinforcement to her peers. She has good gross motor skills (age appropriate).

And This is Chloe’s needs (weakness) - Chloe needs to increase her number and letter recognition. She needs to understand the concept of what “1″ means (i am pretty sure she does - so this one I’ve to remember to ask her teacher). To build rhyming skills and other phonemic awareness. Chloe also needs to reinforce articulation sounds (expressive), she also needs to expand her vocab (receptive) and here i thought she had very good vocab (gotta check with her teacher about this). She has difficulty with following sounds : L, Y.R, Z, V and SH. And lastly, she has difficulty with following pronouns (he/she, him/her), regular past tense.

Please note that Chloe is not 5 yrs old yet. And i really think she knows the he/she and him/her.. but gets it mixed up sometimes (which i remember we all do .. or all kids does it sometimes). 2.5 months into school and personally i feel that she had actually learned a lot. She also speaks a lot of french.. and even learned how to sing the happy birthday song in French. As you can see her weaknesses seems a lot more than her strength. So what do you think ..?? as a mummy.

We just finished watching Gem Of Life Episode 20 and already I am having people email me.. when Gem of Life Episode 21 will be out and they can’t wait.. muahahahhaha!!! oh my..!! some ppl are even more addicted than I am. Never mind! i can understand.. because my blogging buddy who works with a group of las vegas hotels is also asking the same question .. hahah!!! yup .. !! all the way from Las Vegas. A week or two ago, PB’s oldest friend came to visit .. with his new born. Last week, his ex-wife came in with her new husband .. and she is having twins..!!! woohoo..!! twins..!! i told yer.. its the water here..!! Both are friends of us.. and i can’t imagine what they would do .. if they met each other with their own spouses now.

Whenever, a marriage or relationship fail.. both party has got to take responsibility .. but to say that they are faultless, any one party would definitely make me think what was going on in the mind of that person. No one is flawless or faultless especially in a failed relationship. What do you think..?? For me.. if my relationship fails.. it’s because I’ve put out so much.. and when I am either hurt.. or feel that it’s useless to even try anymore.. I give up. Of course, if any of my relationship failed, I feel that I’m at fault as well. I asked PB .. can ppl fall outta love .. when they were so “in love” once upon a time?? His answer..?? “they probably weren’t very much in love at all” or “never was”. What is your take on it..??

Christmas is around the corner again and getting presents for the man can be really hard at times. First of all, the only things he likes are not within my price range and secondly, he already has too many “toys” if you know what I mean. But I’m all for getting him a Tag Kirium, if he would let me. Tag Heuer watches are good for any occasion and for as long as I can remember they’ve always been my favorite. I remember when I first started working and I would be walking around Takashimaya Shopping Center and hanging around outside of Tag Heuer’s boutique there, admiring the watches.

One would insist on wearing her coat for her.. even though she said no.. and the other would insist on hugging her tightly and lifting her up the floor. We all know that kids don’t know any better.. and I don’t want my kid to be hurt. So what would you do..?? especially if her parents were there.. and we were there too. We try to see beyond the “getting hurt” part.. but even when the kid’s dad told him not to.. he carried on hugging chloe really tight.. and lifting her up the floor.

As much as I would love to bathe Chloe .. it does take a little bit of toll on my tummy even after 5 months of recovery since my operation. But now that I feel better and when Keegan or PB isn’t around I will bathe her. But before I can bathe her.. i have to scrub the bath-tub thoroughly… and that itself can be really painful.. since a lot of bending over is necessary.

Today, after our little game of recognising the alphabets .. and getting ready to bathe, Chloe said to me.. ” Don’t worry mom, I will scrub the tub for you. So you don’t have to bend over so much!” a matter of factly way.

As you can see she was pretty earnest about it too. Sprayed the organic stuff .. into the bath-tub and started scrubbing and all. Ain’t she a lovely kid..?? Yes..!! what a very sensitive and sensible kid. Oh by the way, if you want to learn French .. you should head over to Chloe’s blog.

Christmas is just round the corner and if you know me and PB well, you know that we are master procrastinators when it comes to Christmas gift shopping. Not that we hate shopping or Christmas, it’s because we own our own business and like everywhere else in the world Christmas is the busiest time for us. Since we have lots friends in the United States, it is the season of giving and showing love even though we are so far away and unable to be together.

As far as I know no one refuses Christmas chocolate gifts, even those who are allergic to chocolate. After all if they can’t eat it, they can always share it with someone in the family or party/gathering during this holiday season. With such a large selection to choose from one should have no problem picking up a gift online for the extended family or business associates. What I like best about Oh! Nuts is that they are Kosher, and for those who are not sure what it means, it is food that’s fit for consuming by your Muslim friends. I feel absolutely confident shopping for my Muslim friends here. I wish they shipped internationally, but at the moment I can only be content with sending these chocolates, dried fruits and nuts, to my friends in the States.

I was torn in between sending her to school and letting her stay home. But i donch want her to use small excuses .. and let her get away with stuff.. when it isn’t necessary. Too much Simpsons i think..!! the brat thinks that she is Maggie from Simpsons. Her imagination can run really wild at times.. but she can be really funny .. donch you think.

Yes.. she was sucking on a lollipop .. and she loved it wor..!! can die or not..! no wonder no voice today. Usually, she never finished it .. but that day .. she did finish the whole thing.

I can’t imagine relocating with kids tagging along. 8 yrs ago, when i moved here.. it wasn’t even planned.. yet it was already so much things i had to bring with me.. for a few months vacation. Little did i know that it would turn permanent. But my girlfriend, Lara and her husband and two kids, they relocated quite abit and if you are like them, you probably want to talk to mover NYC for a stressless move. But is there such as thing as a stressless move..?? Would you let your kids have a tattoo.. ?? that’s the main question of my post. What is your take on this subject.. ?? as for myself.. as modern as I am.. i don’t think i would like the idea of my kid having a tattoo. Yes.. no harm done.. but what is the purpose of a tattoo anyways..? to beautify oneself..?? by destroying your body with foreign ink.. and chemicals..?? I have nothing against .. adults having tattoos put onto their body. .mind you .. afterall.. they are old enough to think for themselves ( or so you wanna think ) but some adults are much, much more childish about than the kids around here.

But yes.. if your 18 yrs old wanted a tattoo.. what is your answer or response..?? shocked..?? amused..?? or utterly disappointed.. or confused..?? or you are cool with it..?? Me .. i never liked pain.. so i cannot understand.. why someone would go hurt themselves with some ugly and permanent stuff. As for me.. when Chloe is 18 and wants a tattoo.. i will definitely try to dissuade her.. and suggest a removable one..?? She might agree.. and she might not.. but i’m gonna darn try real hard.. to not let her… without getting into a fight with her. As for Katelynn.. our babysitter.. the first one.. i was cool with it.. the second one. . i wasn’t too pleased.. but she ain’t my kid.. so i can’t smack her over the head… muahahhahahaha!!!

Gem of Life Episode 17 is the episode I know all of you are awaiting for as well. Can you imagine.. there are about 63 episodes left .. can “peng shan” !!! Well.. you know who is gonna be getting the links for you to watch, download.. and a Youtube version too right..?? just for your info, the movies or episodes are not hosted by me .. they are hosted by a third party .. so don’t think i downloaded it illegally.. i just found the links for all of you to enjoy. But I’ll be watching out for them.. and the newsgroup .. i’m in .. well..they let me know. .as soon as something comes up. So check my entertainment blog out for the new episodes coming out new each day.. and sometimes. .i have movies too. Check it out eh.

Every other day we get a call from this certain number and at first we didn’t know what to think, especially when we kept missing the call. Well, finally one day we did pick up the call from this strange number and apparently it was from some gimmicky “you won a cruise” place. It was annoying and it was only a recording about the so called winning, and it left no instructions on how to remove ourselves from it’s call list. I’m sure you have one or two calls that you want to avoid picking up, therefore, for people like us it’s great that we can report phone numbers like these to let others know what these calls are about. That way they don’t have to fret about missing an important call when it was really just some scammers calling. I certainly would have found it helpful had I known this site back then, that way I don’t have to worry and get paranoid that I was missing something important.

Today is Remembrance Day .. it is not a National Holiday in Canada .. although i cannot think of a better day to declare one. Remembrance Day didn’t mean a lot to me.. till Chloe went to school, afterall, the future generation should get to know of all the Canadian soldier who was stationed away from home and died to protect Canada. And what about those who are currently still in Iraq or Afghan, don’t they need to be remembered too..?? I am sure their family here in Canada is missing them. So for those who are in Canada.. do remember to tell your children.. what Remembrance Day means.

And to my Chloe.. Remembrance Day means.. “to remember the soldiers.. and those who died for us.” And that’s good enough for me.. from a 4.9 months old.

We had to send Chloe’s lunch to school at 10.30am on Friday.. because we didn’t have it cooked the nite before. We had forgotten to cook the rice .. and fridge it .. so had to wait another nite. The school is really good in this way.. whereby .. we can send food or anything she had forgotten even when her school bell rings.. and you can only go in thru’ the office entrance, all the other entrances are locked. Loved the playground.. but this side .. Chloe rarely use .. hopefully when she change classes next year, she will use this one instead. They have many nice playground toys.. this year, about $8,000 worth of new toys for the playground.

But the swings could use some painting eh.

Skiing in Courchevel 1850, France, was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. When I saw a blogging friend post pictures of it one day I was truly in awe and I cannot explain how happy and sad I was at the same time. Happy because it brought back many wonderful memories and sad because I truly miss traveling around the world. Those were the days.

Of course now that we are nearer to the States than France we can choose the various places in USA for our skiing trips. Gem of Life Episode 15 is up for watching.. and i know you are dying to watch it. Have fun.. and it can be found on my entertainment blog. I can’t get enough of it.. and the weekend.. will be really boring without it… *sigh*. But i must always enjoy my shows.. with some food… like right now.. i’m gonna watch it with my breakfast.

Do you remember Tubby..?? PB’s oldest friend in this town..?? Well.. actually i think it is Kenny.. but since Kenny is always half way around the world.. Tubby is currently his nearest oldest friend. Anyhow.. Tubby’s g/f just gave birth to a baby girl.. and she is about 6 months old. She looks exactly like her daddy.. donch you think (i feel bad for her.. muahahahahah - joking) .. but i know she would grow up and be as beautiful as her mummy.

For someone who thought he could never have a baby.. i guess he was wrong.. but for those out there.. who claimed that they cannot have a baby.. try coming to Yarmouth and live here. I tell yer.. the “water” here… does wonder .. muhahahahaha!!! the doctors back home said the same for me.

And guess what .. they called their daughter..?? long name man..!! i sure donch want that long name.. if i were a grown up.. hahhaha!! as simple as possible.. if you asked me (but of course .. .my opinion ain’t important coz’ i’m not the parents). Ingrid Odessa (another middle name) Hatfield or Cosman.. i think. Anyhow.. long name lah.. hahah!!! she is a pretty alert baby.. and she smiled a few times for us. But parenting ain’t easy.. as we all know.. and i do wish tubby happiness.. even though he can be a pain sometimes. But perhaps.. fatherhood will mellow him..??
