Oh boy..!! this must be the second time i saw PB carrying another kid .. besides our own brat. Priceless eh..?? Isn’t Ciara cute..?? Ciara is Keegan’s niece.. she is like 6 months old. .and she is growing prettier everyday. For a man who doesn’t like kids.. except his own.. i would say he was doing pretty nicely eh.

Chloe can’t get enough of Ciara, she loves her so much.. she must visit her.. every chance she gets. Too bad .. i can’t give her another brother or sister. I bet she would be a good che-che (older sister). Chloe bought the red blouse that Ciara was wearing in this picture. We were at Superstore.. and she said.. “we have to get this for Ciara..!!! x2 ” .. muaahahahah!! it was funny.. seeing her so in love with baby Ciara.

We got a call from Chloe’s school on Monday and you wouldn’t believed who called. HER PRINCIPAL..!!! wow..!! awesome eh..?? i donch remember ever my principal calling my parents. .unless i was in trouble.. or they thought that i had a contagious disease (that would be another story for another day).

Anyhoooo..!! impressed i was lah..!! sauku (mountain tortoise) like that right..?? but coming from Asia hor. .where the teachers and principals are considered Gods of your child’s life .. you kinda need to “humpu bodek” (brown nose/kiss their ass) them as long as you are in their school, so this was really pleasant lah.

The principal had called to inform us what to bring with Chloe on her first day of “real” school.. and a few more instructions. .and even asked if we have any other questions. Awesome right..?? You tell me lah..! where lah .. in Asia.. you get a principal like that one…?? So i’m pretty pleased .. in fact more than pretty pleased. What about your school experience..?? wanna share with me..?

We currently have a Ford Focus and in another few more months, our 5 yrs of paying for it will be over. PB is looking forward to enjoying the car finally and of course having the extra cash every month as well. But we also know we need another car now that the kid is going to school this fall. I grew up watching Mazda cars outside my grandfather’s house and am no stranger to it. Yes, it is a Japanese car and the Japanese do manufacture tons of them every year, but they are a good car and I like the styles. When I was way younger I wanted to own a Mazda RX7 but of course now at 43 this is a different story altogether.

If you ever meet my brat, you will know that she is such a joy to be with 90% of the time. The 10% .. she is very bratty. That is why we called her MonsterBrat..! We do count our blessings.. although i have to remind PB that every so often because even though she sleeps late still, she does sleep the whole nite.. most nites. Given such .. we shouldn’t complained so much about the “if only”. I try not to compare her with other kids.. because my grandmother used to say.. ” yan pei yan, pei sei yan” - direct translation.. comparing one for another, another means no good stuff will come outta it. Ok.. ok..!! not exactly that either.. but you get the drift.

Basically, she is very mild.. and takes “no” very well.. and i’m not just saying it…you can ask Keegan.. and she will agree with me. She doesn’t out of the store.. at the sight of just anyone.. or anything .. even though our door is always open. Never break stuff in the store.. or at home.. and she picks up 50% of the time. And thinks she helps me with washing up.. and cooking and cleaning the house. So yes..!! we can’t really complain eh..?

I am quite amused yet a wee bit disturbed when i see how some ppl would write the stuff they normally wouldn’t .. if they weren’t trying to make a few bucks on the net and to be “famous”. There is one particular blog I don’t visit nor read no more. Why..?? lets just say we have different values and to me it is definitely not worth writing those stuff just to drive traffic to your blogs.

It is nice to be known as the famous blogger or the blogger who makes the most money .. etc. But the money that some “famous” and “self-proclaimed” pro-blogger is actually terribly peanuts. I know that some ppl loved to be known or rather boast but what is the price are you paying for this so-called fame..?? 5 yrs down the road.. can you really face your children and say that it was alright to write all those stuff .. on the net..?? What is your price of fame..?? I think if i had to resort to do what one blogger did to create traffic and fame.. it would be a price too high. It’s alright .. if I am an unknown blogger and not famous .. i rather like the way things are.. as long as I don’t have to wake up each morning.. and wonder what hate mails I might be getting or someone announcing to the public that they are planning to chop you to pieces or kidnap your kids.

So what is your price of fame..?? how far would you go.. to make yourself or perceived yourself as being the famous and the elite…??
