When i was younger.. my mom used to say.. marry an older man .. and you become his darling.. but if you marry someone younger.. you become his slave. I’ve always thought that it was true.. because the older man is supposedly to be more worldly and would take care of the younger wife right..?? But when i was pursued by a old man.. when i was in my twenties.. i stopped and thought about what the future will hold for me… when he is 65 and I am only 40 ..??

I’m in my 40s now .. and still very active.. and want to go for facials.. and massages. .and holidays.. and take up pilates .. and rock climbing.. or even fly a plane if i get a chance. But would my 65 yrs old spouse be able to do as much with me..?? I chose to remain only as friends.. because even though he was established.. had 2 houses in Memphis, Tennessee, I cannot see a future with him. Ironically, I married someone much younger than I and I became the cradle robber.. in our relationship. But you know what .. my mother’s theory was wrong.. because if you asked my in-laws.. they would definitely tell you . .that i’m spoilt in this relationship. It’s awesome.. that I don’t have to carry any heavy grocery bags or strapped my daughter into her car seat.

We have been trying to get ahold of the Parent’s Place for registering the brat into the “ready, get set, go” program. We’ve to put Chloe into this program to prepare her for school.. and come June she is going for orientation the whole day with her new school.

I’ve mixed feelings… and would really wished someone from Parent’s place would call us back not only because of registering the brat.. but because we wished to see how we can help.

Yes.. I got more baby bok choi today.. from my father-in-law. Pictures to follow .. but this time.. i brought the whole bucket home.. so that it would grow a little more.. before i chop them down.. and stir fry them with oyster sauce, garlic .. and some fried shallot. I can’t wait for more baby bok choi.. maybe once there is more.. i can fry them up. .and eat them with my in-laws.. so they can see how sweet the baby bok choi is. It really taste alot different from the ones.. we can get in Halifax. This is not scrawny.. but fat and juicy.

We planned to go for a family vacation every year but it doesn’t always come true for us. Sad but it’s true.. we have other commitments like running our own business.
