Just the drama princess .. posing for a picture at the supermarket. Yes.. I was getting a picture of some cookies.. and she wanted me to take her picture.. and she need to pose too. I know it is just a phase.. and i’m enjoying every minute of it.. while I can.

This is the brat .. getting a doll from the Dollar store.. for eating up all her salmon last week. She is definitely an easy kid to please because she never asked for more than 1 toy. And if you allow her to get 2 .. she would be so grateful.. she would tell you … “Thanks..! mom..!!” Music to my ears.. and i’m sure all mummies out there .. knows what i am talking about.

Gary our friend/customer was in today. Even though he is still not feeling his best.. he would still come visit Chloe.. every now and then. No wonder .. Chloe loves Gary alot. Anyways.. this morning.. chloe was dancing the mambo dance for Gary.. and I was watching her from afar. Guess what the brat said to me..??? “Don’t watch me mum..!!! watch your opp..!!!! ”

It took me a few days to pen down my thoughts about the post about Asians marrying the “whites” and what exactly was on their mind. Maybe I worded it wrongly .. but my concern was the young Asian women out there .. coming here with hopes and dreams that may not come true. Marrying a foreigner is not your regular fairy-tale, Cinderalla story, some may not find your Prince.

As Girlie from HipnCoolMomma had pointed out that there are many successful union.. of the younger Asian gals.. and the older “white” man… and I’ve no doubt about it. C’mon.. i too am married to one.. and I too have a somewhat successful union (i would like to think).

This is not targeted to just the Filipinas .. but seeing a cousin advertising for her younger cousin of 20 yrs of age, sorta irks me. Maybe it’s the way it was worded..?? maybe because she is a beautiful young lady, maybe because I’m someone who marry a “white”. But life is hard in a foreign country. I cannot speak for others.. but i sure miss home like hell. In retrospect, I am very lucky and blessed to have met a good man.. who didn’t beat me up.. or grope me in public.. or swear at me.. or who is a drinker.. nor a gambler.. or someone who expects me to have a kid every year so we can all collect welfare. Basically, I didn’t get a monster for a spouse but what about those who “might” not meet the right guy ..??
