As a kid, my mother never let us help her to cook or bake.. and in fact she would literally treat us like a pest.. if we even cooked in her kitchen.. because she said.. we would either dirty her stove.. or spoil it.

I used to lament about the lack of fun cooking with my mum. .but when i think back. .i knew she cannot afford to spare the time.. because she was a full time working mum. This is the reason why .. i never refused to let chloe help in washing or cooking if she wanted to.. because.. i donch want her to feel she ain’t useful. Even if she was making a mess more than helping… it’s alright.

Changing cars every other year is quite the norm in this part of the world. Even my babysitter has her own car.. it was a hands me down.. but it’s great that she is able to drive around on her own.. and used the car to go to school.

Lucky for her .. she doesn’t have to pay for the car.. because it was once upon a time her brother’s but her classmates who wants to drive would have to get their own car loan and insurance. Eyeing on a used car austin, she may trade in hers for a new used car, when she starts going to college next year. And for students like her .. Quality Auto not only take your old car for trade in but also help you get a loan really quick. Awesome for kids like my babysitter .. that’s for sure.

I’m sure by now .. all of you know that the brat is hard to feed. And like any good mummies.. i too worry sick.. because of her no intake of meat. If she can.. she would try all sorts of nonsense just not to eat that meat.. that she had already been chewing in her mouth. Lucky for us, she developed a liking for tofu, yogurt and milk. With these substitutes i think it is ok.. that she doesn’t like meat that much. What do you give your kids.. when they don’t want to eat certain food..??

It was really thoughtful of Aunt Helena.. to remember that the brat loves corn. She had bought some.. and cooked it for the brat.. when we visited on Sunday. You should have seen how Chloe’s eyes lighted up.. when she saw the corn. She chomped it down really quick too. Muahahahha!! my corn monster..!

Like every kid, the brat has decided that she wants a gift everyday or any chance that we go shopping. Whether to the grocery store or to the mall, she would asked if she can get a gift. So how do other mums cope with it..?? or dad..?? because we all know they can drive us nuts.. by asking for a present right..??

Well.. as for us and the brat.. we trained her really early.. that only those that she finds with red-tags.. they are for sale.. those without the red tag.. they are only for display. But since the brat is getting older.. and way smarter now.. we also instilled in her.. that the red-tag means that they are on sale.. and we never buy anything .. that ain’t on sale .. because we gotta shop smart.. else we will have no money.

And yes.. no fuss .. she looks only for the red-tags.. and for your info.. nothing is on red-tag.. it is just a prevention for us not to buy anything we donch wanna buy.

Every year we said we want to throw the brat a birthday party but it always seems like something will come up.. and we don’t get the party invitations out on time for the party. So this year, we are going to have the party way earlier.. to prevent any unforeseen circumstances. That way if we can’t have it on that said day.. at least it is still early enough to have it on the following week.

I had called my gynecologist’s office this morning to make an appointment to see the gynae, sometime next week. And guess what the secretary told me..??? That i need a referral from my family doctor.. since I haven’t seen him for some time now..! *slap forehead* !! What kinda rules and regulation is this anyways..??? I’ve seen him before for years.. and i stopped because i wasn’t gonna do an op till later.. i WAS his patient before.. so WTF..!!! This is so aggravating..!! i’ve never had to go on a round about trip .. back home..! it must be a Canadian thing..??

Many years ago, i wouldn’t think of nothing speaking money on furnishing the house. But of course things are different if you are spending the man’s money.. and not making your own. I love fanciful stuff.. who doesn’t . .and many year ago, i would never think of buying them only when they are on sale. I want something.. and i want it now. Life sure changes.. once you have kids eh..?? We finally got the curtain rods that we want for our tv room too. Nice or not..?? Not ex either.. !
