Proper Education ?
“All Tri-County Regional School Board schools in Yarmouth and Shelburne counties only will be dismissing at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30p.m. today because of inclement weather.”
Every little bit of excuse.. they can come up with … a little bit of snow throughout the day.. and they are sending the kids home. I donch think my brat is gonna get a good education here. The teachers or the board seems to love to send the kids home.. or have what they call “in-service” or relief teachers.. that does nothing .. for the kids. I am extremely disturbed by these.
Wa, your situation is the exact opposite of ours here!

Golly, I can’t believe that I have not visited for sometime, my apologies MamaBok. Thank God Chloe is already well and was up for Easter. I think people in America and Canada really celebrate easter compared to us here living in Asia.

Over here, we have lots of holidays and some of the government teachers can be very lazy too.

The school hours in Singapore are getting longer these days, but the kids have a 5-day week. And with more holidays, the school syllabus will be rushed through.
