In Good Spirit
In good spirit even though she was ill.. for a few days now. But today .. she is feeling way better. But the coughing hasn’t stopped.. and we can hear all the phlegm trying to break up. But the brat doesn’t know how to throw up or spit up the phlegms.. that’s the program. But we found out one thing.. and that is .. she doesn’t mind taken liquid form.. Robutissen medication.. strawberry flavor .. as opposed to putting them in her milky or the chewy tablets.

Coughing is the worse for kids..try to give her honey in warm water..it will help ease her throat.

Hope Chloe gets well quickly. Coughing too long isn’t good for kids. Mine has developed a slight cough these two days too. Blame it on the weather!

awwww…. it’s no fun being sick! Even though cough medicine tastes better these days, I’m sure she prefers strawberry flavoured ice-cream! hehe…

have you heard about the vicks vaporub to the soles remedy? massage some to both the soles and top up with a pair of socks. apparently it will ease the cough while they are sleeping. i tried that on aidan and it seemed to work. or was is just the timing when was about to get better.. i dunno. as it is nothing internal and invasive, worth a try
hope your little darling is much better now.

I coughed for 16 days, and all the time I tried to spit out the phlegm. Finally, doc told me to tell myself phlegm is not there, try not to cough it out, and it will disolve by itself.
True enough, with some strong sedation, I was numb from head to toe, slept 24 hours, unable to cough/spit out the phlegm. It works! My cough was cured, right after that 24 hours!!!
Hope it doesn’t take that long for Chloe to get weel…
