You Trained Me Such
Eating with PB around is a no no..! well… that is if i wanna enjoy my food. Why leh..?? you asked. Well.. if i eat.. when PB is around.. quite the “kek sim” .. because he would give you that exasperated look.. because he doesn’t like ppl who eats loudly or chew with their mouth open.. or talk.. when you eat. And so .. whenever i slurp my noodles.. he would be running outta the room like a bullet train. If he didn’t have any shoes.. he would wear a clog .. kinda manner.. well.. you get the drift right.
So if i eat. .and he is in the room.. either i would wait for him to leave.. or i eat in the tv room.. if he doesn’t wanna eat. So just the other day.. i was waiting for him to leave the room before starting on my noodles.. and he said… “oh .. you can eat” .. and i said.. “nope.. ! i can’t..! ” and before he left the room.. i told him. “you trained me such”. Afterall, how to enjoy one’s food.. when the other half looked like you just murdered his dog or something to that effect… right..??
You see food to PB is just food.. and nothing more. But food to me.. is an kinda enjoyment… so very hard to entice him.. with food.. or introduce new ones to him. But i’m sure you all know… if you had been reading my blog for years now. Yup..! when i come home.. i’ll make sure i do my food hunts without the man… but with all my makan-kakis..! so anyone up to it..??
PB is quite a strange one…but I’ve come across pple like him who view food as just functional, not something to enjoy.

Same same same! to my husband, food is just food. To me, my god, they are part of my daily enjoyment. My hubby always complaint that i take food too seriously!

Hahaha..hubby cannot tahan also when i slurp or make noise when i eat but he also does the same at times..then i will say that back to him…he will then try to eat quietly..hehe

LOL…PB is one very queer guy. As for my hubby, he doesn’t like to see used tissues all over the dining table when we eat out. He always says i hv no table manners but hey, I use those tissues to wipe his 2 precious daughters!

Oops… I’m like PB, I don’t like to hear sounds when I’m at a dining table. My hubby likes to slurp and lick his fingers… so he always get a scolding whenever we eat together. haha….
