Branded School..??
If we were back in Singapore.. I would have no hesitation in putting Chloe into one of our neighbourhood school. I have great fear .. when it comes to branded schools.. like the one that i was used to going. My mom had lined up overnite.. so that me and my sister would get a place in Marymount Convent. And that was the biggest mistake she ever made and i never wanna subject my brat to something like that.
The students in the school were all rich.. their parents are judges .. and businessmen.. or some big shot..! wherelse.. my family situation .. was really pathetic. My mum didn’t even have money to change new uniforms for us every year.. and had to be called in by the principle all the time.. because of our short skirt. It certainly didn’t give us an edge.. when we went to Marymount.. in fact.. we were slighted.. and laughed at.. and made fun of .. by our classmates.. and teachers.. alike.
So which brings us back to whether.. i should just let Chloe go to the south end school (that everyone say it is bad) or Meadowfields.. for French Immersion..??

To me, every school are almost the same. Its depend your kid attitude and charactor, as well as parent’s thinking too!
Hey, wishing you Gong Xi Fatt Chai & have a prosperous Chinese New Year!

It’s not the school sometimes that produces excellent students…. it’s all starts from home… I also hate branded schools, very stressful to keep up with the Jones!
Wishing you and your family a HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS LUNAR NEW YEAR!

i would rather Avarayna go to school where they hv uniforms in this case, private school, not the richy kind but maybe a catholic private school. i am not religious, Frank is catholic so i guess it wont hurt.

hey girl,
school angst hits you too huh ? yah i went to St Nicks but i was too clueless to tune into any of the teasing.
i think Chloe would have it better any way — because of how much awareness you bring to her schooling. : )
