Yes.. ! the move is on.. and we are not even half done on the other side of the store. Half is gone to the new store.. but we still need to sort out over the other side of the store. You can’t imagine .. how much stuff we have in our store.

We did get alot of help with moving.. yet because of the things that we need for running the store up to now, there was little we can do.. to pack up till today. It is hard on PB .. so i try not to be a woman.. muahhahahahaa!!!

Yes.. this crazy mommy butchered her hair.. because we are so busy of late.. donch even have time to bring her over to Francine’s .. and she wouldn’t let me clip her hair.. or tie it up. So last nite.. i bought a scissors meant for cutting the fringe.. and today.. i butchered her hair. Woohoo..!! i got Wars of In-Laws 2 to watch tonite..!! After PB’s motherboard went bonkers.. since Saturday.. i didn’t have a chance to watch any chinese shows. His computer didn’t wanna work.. and without his computer .. i can’t get any shows working on the xbox. We had to wait for monday.. to order a new motherboard.. and it arrived yesterday. So yes.. i was so looking forward to seeing this TVB series, for i did like the first one alot. But this one is in modern setting.. and i’m sure.. i’m gonna like it even more. Lisa Wang is in it.

I’m pretty sure that by now, you know how much I want a recreation room at the basement for PB. When we first moved into this house 3 yrs ago, that was what we had agreed on. The basement would be for the man.. and the upstairs is for me to take care of.. and to decorate as I pleased. We already have a 52″ TV .. so all we are lack of is home theater sconces. I know they are not cheap.. but if you look out for their sale, we might just get some really soon.

Many years ago, when we were moving to a permanent office, the person in charge of buying our office furniture when out to buy 2nd hand furnitures for everyone in the office from a business that was going out of business. Everyone in the office had 2nd hand furnitures except himself.. where he went out to buy a whole new set of desk and chairs and cabinets for himself, in his own little corner. Sometimes when i missed home, like this time of the year .. whereby Chinese New Year is round the corner, I wished we could up and leave for Asia. Call me crazy.. but positive disciplining seems to be the hardest for all parents.. including me. I normally do not raise my voice at the brat.. the whole day.. and i can keep my cool.. right up till at midnite.. when she doesn’t wanna sleep. Yes.. and she tells you so… that’s the when I start raising my voice.. and she starts crying.. and says this to me .. every nite.. “yer not upposed to shout at meeee.. baaaawwwwahhhh!” and after all the crying.. and cleaning the tears and kissing good nites.. she would tell you to say.. “say sweet dreams” .. “say .. don’t let the bugs bite” .. and “say .. good nite.. sweetheart”. If we donch raised our voice.. by midnite.. it would be almost 2am.. before she would be too tired.. and sleep.. and that does not mean that at 2am.. we didn’t raised our voice either. So what does .. tired parents like us do..?? raise our voices early..!! *sigh*.. positive disciplining is HARD..!

12 yrs old kids here .. are fairly mature in my opinion. They know the right from wrong.. and some 12 yrs old boys that i know here.. knows alot more than the birds and the bees. According to this kid.. he and the babysitter had sex for more than 100 times… and that’s alot… of sex.. considering with someone who doesn’t wanna have sex with his babysitter..??

I can’t say.. i see it as an assault.. but the kid was 12 yrs old.. and it’s wrong.. whether.. he was just a curious teenager.. or not. As the adult.. it must be her who initiated it.. or if not.. she should have stopped it there and then. By not doing so.. and taking advantage of the curiosity of a growing teenage boy.. I’ll have to say.. she deserved the 2.5 yrs sentence. What is your view on it..??

Yes.. the brat asked to make a pact last nite.. before going to bed. She got outta the shower.. and wanted to watch 1 show.. and we had said.. no .. because it was time for bed. In which she replied.. “I’ll make a pact with you .. i’ll watched one show.. and drink my milk.. and I’ll sleep the whole nite.. ok.. mum..?? ”

Yup.. i’m not even kidding.. she said that to me..! So we let her watch a show.. but nope.. she didn’t sleep the whole nite.. nor sleep early.. muahhahaha!! but i’ll have to say.. she tried though… to get away with stuff.

Woohoo..!! finally..!! i’ve been waiting for the Iphone.. since it got released last year. I was really envious.. coz’ my buddy in Italy was showing it off .. all over his blog. Nothing makes me happier than eating greens. I think i must have been reincarnated from a cow in my previous life. This was what we had at my MIL’s house during her birthday. We had roasted chicken, some baked ham, fruit salad with raspberry vinegrate, mashed potatoes.. and i thought it was an awesome meal. The brat didn’t have much meat as per usual.. but she did have the mashed potatoes.. made by grammie.

I thought that would be nice.. because Grammie can show off pictures of chloe.. when she has visitors.

While everyone .. who is normal, will be looking forward to the weekend.. we have been kissing our weekends.. goodbye the minute we owned this store. Even though we haven’t opened on Sundays for a year now… we either have to do grocery shopping and of course to visit the in-laws. So there is really no rest nor free time for me and PB .. ! so poor thing eh..?? This weekend.. and the next will be for moving the store. JOY..!! there goes my weekend..!

How crazy is that..! The town is crazy.. and run by crazy ppl.

You wouldn’t believed it.. but we were watching Building Blocks of Life .. the brat and I during dinner tonite.. and the grandmother of one of the actress in the show got into an accident and died. I took the opportunity to explain to the brat .. since she asked .. why the grandmother died.. that if she doesn’t hold hands while on the road.. with us.. a car may come.. and hurt her.

She started .. bawling..!!! yup..!!! and said.. “she didn’t wanna die”!! OMG..!! sensitive or what..?? did she really understood the whole scenario..?? or just drama queen..??

As long as I can remember .. my mother who was constantly invited for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and any kind of promotion function, never failed to buy gold as presents. Plus she does cooperate with mummy .. so we can take a picture of her.. for all to see.

I saw a piece of half eaten cookie in the bathroom.. where the waste paper basket was, and i guess that must have been the commotion in the bathroom yesterday evening.. when PB was bathing the brat..and the brat must have accidentally dropped the cookie somehow.

The first thing that came to my mind was .. why would someone eat in the bathroom right..?? bathroom so dirty.. germs and all. And if my mother had seen it.. she would have screamed blue murder. But you see.. after coming to “ang moh” town.. and being with “ang moh” hor.. you learn to accept .. that what you practice may not be what they practice.

What PB doesn’t know is .. i really closed two eyes.. to the stuff he is used to.. .even though he still thinks i am anal and paranoid about certain things. I think if he had been with another asian woman.. i bet he would feel the chilli padi… muahhaha!! i learned to be more easy going because we all know.. that you can’t really change a man. If you insist on it hor.. you will only be heading the other way, the resentment is gonna be so much quicker ..and stronger.

Keegan is sick again.. so poor chloe will not have a babysitter for a few days again. A week ago, she came down with a flu.. i guess it had to do with the current weather. I hope she doesn’t pass anything to her mom.. because she is going into surgery this week. Speedy recovery Kate..!

We celebrated my MIL’s birthday today.. and i had meant to post pictures.. but guess what..?? i left my camera at my MIL’s place..

I so wished the tour agency would remind everyone to get insurance each time the customer travels but I’ve never come across one that would do that. I have no reason why.. and it is truly sad, because traveling with some insurance, is definitely the only way to go.

In a few minutes, it will be my mother-in-law’s birthday..! We’ve already called her . .and got the brat to sing her a birthday song and all. So .. i ask you here.. to join me.. in wishing my MIL .. a very happy birthday..! for being the best MIL .. ever..! and the bestest grammie to my brat.

Yes.. i saw a whale walked into our store this afternoon. No kidding..!! And an ugly one at that..!

I told my FIL about it.. and he said.. “whales don’t have feet!” and my reply was .. “this one does..!” It’s terrible.. !! how does someone who is less than 25 yrs old.. become this big?? and I had asked PB .. how did the whale get to buy her clothings..?? in which PB replied.. that “this is a FAT country, you know..!”

Nah.. i wasn’t making fun of the whale because she is big.. or fat .. but because she did us a great injustice.. and yet.. always have the cheek.. to come back to our store… all the time… after bad-mouthing us. I donch even know why PB would help her out everytime.

PS: Btw, this whale was the one who told my customers that we didn’t have to pay for our car, because it’s under the company’s name. And also this whale called immigration on us, and told immigration .. PB fired her.. because he hired an illegal immigrant (yours truly) to take over her position. What a sin..! This whale was the one, that I had helped with my own money, loaned her to pay for her rent when her then b/f ran out on her!

The man has been complaining that there isn’t even bar stools, in his recreation room at the basement for all his buddies.. when they come over to watch a game.. or play pool. And i refused to get any for him, unless i can find those that are really strong and sturdy. You guess right..!! his friends/buddies can get quite rowdy.. when they are watching their wrestling shows or currently .. their favourite Guitar Hero 3 for the xbox 360.

After 7pm at nite, we never give the brat anymore things that has got sugar in it, because we noticed that she can be up the whole nite when she does. But lately, I read in a magazine.. that it’s only a myth, that the only thing she would get is cavity if she had anything sugary. Now if that is the case, why does my brat not sleep ..?? or become ultra hyper..?? Can anyone enlighten me..??

We had a special visitor one Sunday afternoon… Aunt Yvette (MIL’s sister) came by to visit. It was a surprised.. she came with my MIL of course.. but it was a nice visit. Chleo doesn’t seems to mind her Aunt Yvette at all. And since my MIL came by.. we didn’t have to go visit her instead.. so that’s good. . since i’m having a rather painful menses today.

Seriously, sometimes we donch know how the brat comes up with certain things that comes outta her mouth.

This morning.. she told her Papa .. while watching American Dad this.. “I donch wanna watch this show..! this is not for kids..! there are people killing each other..! i want another show” Yes.. she said all that.. and it was truly funnnnyyy..!!! And at times if you wanted her to do something.. like pick up her toys and all.. she would answer us .. “Yes.. Sir..” or Yes.. your majesty…” not in a rude way mind you .. but in a very tiring way.. muahhahahahaha!!

For those who donch already know.. the brat never takes a nap..!! but of late.. she doesn’t wanna sleep till about 1am. Yes..!! yer heard me right..!! 1am..!! by 12.30am every nite.. PB and my patience would be already running out.. and we try.. and try our best.. not to raise our voices… but the girl .. test our patience and push it.. every nite.. and so the screaming starts.. and the crying starts.. and then she wants hugs.. because she can’t sleep if we were mad with her.. and then it pushes till about 1am.. or thereafter.. before she would go to bed. Leaving both PB and I to do housework.. and cooking.. and of course paperwork.. and some online opps.

We sleep at 4am in the morning.. sometimes later.. depending on how much work needs to be done.. because mopping, vaccuming.. cleaning up her toys.. and doing dishes.. and then doing her bottles.. all takes time. And then we make a snack before we sleep.. and if we are lucky we get a full 5 - 6hrs of sleep. Sometimes, the brat wakes up a few times.. and whats worst..she insist you sit on the puter and work.. and not go back to your bedroom.. else she would be up every 45mins or so. So for those whose kids sleeps at anytime before 10pm.. count your blessings.. and for those who have one or two nites bad.. count your blessings too… for we .. yours truly.. never get as much rest ever .. since the brat was born.

Chloe’s mouth is slightly swollen from this dental visit. This dental is another one, and it is for her check up .. to make arrangement to put her to sleep .. for her filling. The assistant of the dentist wanted some x-ray of her teeth on both side.. and stupid mummy .. was so gung-ho about it.. and tried to coax the brat to cooperate but instead.. they messed up. .and couldn’t get the second set of x-ray.. and wanted to do it again. The piece of thing that had to be shoved into Chloe’s mouth was so huge.. and yet.. stupid mummy didn’t stop them. How stupid can I get..?? I am so angry with myself..!! Chloe’s mouth is so small.. and that x-ray film is so huge.. even as an adult myself.. it is hard to stick that damn thing into my mouth.. how can i expect chloe to be comfy..!! stupid.. stupid.. of me..!! some more gotta go do blood work . . before going to OR.. JOY..!!!

The “ang mohs” hor.. loves to work with their hands. They can really do stuff. My father in law and brother in law Richard hired a wood mizer .. for $35.00 an hour to make their own lumber.. from the trees in the woods that my father in law owns. I donch know if it was cheaper.. to do it this way.. or to go out to Homehardware to buy the lumber.. but after 10 hrs of work.. they did get alot done. Not ready for building yet.. but looks like someone is gonna be busy this summer.

The day after Christmas, Chloe had her first dental appointment. She needed a little coaxing to get her onto the dental chair and to lean down. The hygienist was quite ok .. at first.. but then . .i think being too young.. she was at a lost too.. when Chloe started fussing.

i donch know why ppl are so quick to judge my kid.. when they’ve only seen her like 5minutes. The dentist insisted that Chloe will not cooperate enough.. to do the work without putting her to sleep. .or sedation. But it’s entirely up to us.. if we want her to put to sleep or not in the hospital. It does not sit well with PB and I.. but what can you do right..?? if she needs her filling.. she needs it.

I love winning..! who doesn’t right..?? even though i put on a nonchalant face.. when i lose on anything.. it sure irks me big time. I am really trying to finish some good english movies like Rush Hour 3 and a few more.. but my love for chinese movies .. sure does say something about my good intentions. I do love good english movies.. but nothing beats my tv serial shows.. like Survival Law 2 .. and the other i am waiting to watch is the Mother-in-law 2.

Oh.. the allure of those chinese shows is too much .. i just give in.. even Best Selling Secrets cannot beat Dr House.

There isn’t really much night life for us living in this small little town and most people from our town stay home alot because of the bad weather. So what does one do.. when one is stuck at home for a good few months..?? The nights are long.. and the days are short. One favorite thing that my in-laws and the man does is play online games… and of course for us, the nearest casino is 4 hrs away.. and surely no one would drive to the city in this horrendous weather.

Since the new rule for schooling with regards to December kids was announced last year, the brat is able to attend school this September.. earlier than we had anticipated. For many years, kids born after September .. can only attend school .. the following year .. after they turn 5 but because of this new ruling, parents can opt to send their kids to school a year earlier, if they think they are ready.

The brat according to the family is more than ready. Now it is the prep school we have to think about putting her in before September.. to prepare her for real school. It is a real stressful time for us.. because we know.. she will not allow us to leave her someone where she is not familiar with. She doesn’t even stay at her grandparents without us. So how leh..??

Students goes away for college as young as 17 yrs old these days.. and they are mostly not living in the same town as their parents anymore.. because of college. Most move to the city, to get a better education but as parents, I am sure you understand the need to have a credit card for emergencies. We called Godma Lynn last nite.. because the brat missed her Aunt Helena..! yes.. she is very sentimental. .and even when she is on the phone with her Godma.. or her grammie and grammie..she hugs the phone.. when she says goodbye.. muahahha!! weird.. nah..!! she is just being affectionate.. and i wouldn’t changed that for anything in the world.

Yes.. the brat called her grammie and grampie.. and told them she wasn’t going to visit tomorrow.. because she didn’t wanna get them sick. I thought that was extremely cute.. and nope. .we didn’t teach her to say that.. but she is absolutely sensible eh.

If i had known that later in life .. i would be plagued by this stupid fibroids of mine.. i would have definitely bought health insurance that would cover me for my surgery. But as of now.. i’ll have no choice but to wait.. until all my paperwork is completed.. and approved.. by the health insurance provided here for citizens.. and be at their mercy. It had been months since i applied.. yet .. i haven’t heard nothing yet. Frustrated the least to say.. but suffering and in pain all the time, just suxs big time.

Good folks are hard to come by in this town.. and those that we had thought were nice and decent.. turned out to be so, so disappointing and heartbreaking..! But of late, we found another gem for a friend. Not only is Brian and his wife great.. their children are playmates to Chloe. Today they bought a gift for chloe.. and had purposely dropped in so the kids can play together for abit. And also they are so nice.. because as soon as chloe needed to have lunch. .they promptly said their good byes. Now isn’t that considerate.. i so love friends like that..

It was so stupid of her to have said something like that.. because it’s the same concept.. when one of us was ill.. we would have quickly left.. the store.. so we donch pass anything to anyone.. not to our employees or the customers. We are good ppl .. and ppl to say stuff like that.. they should really be in a psychotic ward.

I don’t know if it is because of the influence of my grandfather, but the silver dollar and any kind of coin collecting fascinates me. My grandfather was a very old-fashioned man, but he was very careful with his money but one who spares nothing to collect minted coins.

He would used them as gifts to us for Chinese New Year and also during our birthdays. Morgan Silver Dollars are the most collected coin in America, how i wished I could show my grandfather this coin.
