Who doesn’t love gold?? Many an Asian women like I do .. and so does my mum and my grandmother and my great grandmother. All these wise woman before me.. knows all about gold investing.

Investing in Gold has never been easier now. Monex offers convenient ways for buying gold bullion and specific gold buying strategies can and should be discussed with a Monex Account Representative. The Monex group of company is a professional and a company with integrity. Operated since 1967, they are not your fly by night investment company. Committed to customer service and trading hours to your convenience, use the name trusted by people for the last 30 yrs for all your gold investment.

For centuries now, gold rarely depreciate in terms of value, so if i were you, i definitely would only invest in the one thing that had been safe all these time.. while others.. even properties slumped .. during the 70s.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday..PB ..!! And many happy returns of the day..!! I hope. .muahahahah!!

PB is 35 today.. and having started his business some 9 yrs ago.. that would have made him about 26 yrs old… and he has come a long way.. from being that “shy” and “I donch wanna talk” guy .. to a somewhat established and smart businessman.

I think the most successful thing in his life is probably taking on the role as a daddy. In fact, he has done so much for the brat.. you wouldn’t believe .. how much he has changed because of her. Yes.. he loves the brat alot..! And as much as I hate to say it.. I feel he is more logical with her.. when explaining things to the brat .. like why she shouldn’t be doing certain things.

Yes.. you’ve come a long way.. PB ..! And Happy Birthday .. and many more to come..! There is nothing .. I can buy for you .. that you donch already have… but I gave you the greatest gift.. of all.. CHLOE..! she is your legacy..! She will be .. what you want to leave behind for the world to see.. who you are.

Heading Out To See Grampie

Filed under: Uncategorized, The In-Laws - Mama BoK @ 11:14 am

Chloe hasn’t seen Grampie for about 2 weeks now.. so even though we have loads to do.. shopping.. and cleaning the house.. and setting up Christmas stuff.. we are gonna head out and visit Grampie.. so that the brat can go have some bonding time with him. Grammie comes babysit on Tuesdays.. so no matter what .. she get to see the brat for a few hours… and do stuff with her. The problem with Grampie is .. he doesn’t like coming into town.. so it makes it hard.. for the brat to constantly bond with him.

Perfect Gift For The Man

We currently have a 52″ projection TV .. but the man had been eyeing on a pioneer 60 inch LCD for the longest time. I can understand the fascination fully and want to get one for him if the price is right. Having say that.. we all know that plasma tvs have gone down in prices for the last few years and has become really affordable to customers like us. My mum used to say, what’s the point of working so hard, when you cannot enjoy the fruit of your labor.

And boys will always be boys.. and the older they get the toys gets alot more expensive. Checking Krillion for the plasma saved us alot of time because you get to compare prices and get information on the location where you can buy the exact model, unlike other web search, whereby you have to do it one by one, thus wasting alot of time. With product information available immediately on the same site, through Krillion localization engine, you get a more accurate local shopping experience. No more going from shop to shop, just to check out the prices and whether they are in stock. Awesome..!

Brrrr… rrrr

Brat and I stayed home today.. because it was so windy.. i think it just might blow us away. Wind at 39km/hr .. it gets so chilly.. sometimes.. i wonder.. why we are here during the winter. Is love really blind..?? I often wonder.. how come .. i never thought it out properly .. during the first few years in Y-town.. ?? On days like that.. it suxs so bad.. even turning up all the heat in the house.. it seems cold.. one can really use the warm sunshine in Singapore.

So pray tell me.. those who migrated to shitty weather places.. ?? why did we do that..??

My Zen Experience

Filed under: Food Review, Vacations/Travel - Mama BoK @ 1:37 am

My hotel trainer from many years ago had taught me.. to always focus on the good points first.. when dealing with employees, and then the bad. And for the longest time.. i’ve tried to be diplomatic about it.. even when dealing with the folks here. As you can see, I donch have much luck practicing with the folks here.. because the culture here is different. I digress.

So yes.. the good stuff about Zen is .. the staffs were excellent. They were attentive and very friendly. They were all chinese. We had 1 bowl of congee, 1 glutinous rice, 1 har kow, 1 siew mai and 1 char siew pau .. and 1 egg tarts (takeaway), it cost us $27 + 14% tax and another $5 for tips. So it was like RM$99.00 for my dim sum trip, do you think it was worth it..??
