I’ve always found it hard to buy gifts for the boys .. because gals, you just have to get girly stuff… like dolls..and princess dresses… and dressing up set. But what do one buy for the boys..?? RC helicopter, I found is not only fun.. you actually kill 2 birds with one stone.. and you keep the boys and their daddy really busy. Perfect gift.. and some “me” time for mummies.

Yup..! that’s what they say now..! and what do I know.. right..?? since the experts say.. we must eat.. so i’m sharing with all of you. But seriously, i think they are really meant to educate the Western women.. so that they would stop eating french fries and burgers.. and think that they are the only thing they can eat.

1. Berries - more protective plant antioxidants in berries than any other food. And they prevent memory loss.

2. Salmon - We all know why of course.. right..?? Because of the Omega 3 - healthy fats to fend of heart disease… so you don’t die when you are doing naughty stuff in bed.. muahhahaha!!

3. Leafy Greens - We all need the folic acid in dark greens because there is just not enough nutrition in other kinda food.

4. Whole Grain - Give you more fiber. This one i find it really hard to follow.

5. Golden Veggies - sweet potatoes, beta carotene you need daily to lower your cancer risk.

6. Nuts - excellent sources of protein, magnesium, B vitamins and E–trusty fighters in the war against heart disease and cancer. This one is easy peasy to follow.

7. Yogurt - terrific source of B vitamins, protein, calcium and –if it has active cultures–the healthy bacteria known as probiotics, which crowd out disease-causing germs. If you get the kinda yogurt you like.. i’m sure there is no problem eating it.

So tell me.. outta the 7 .. how many do you already eat.. ?? or will make an effort to eat them..?? As for me.. the only thing I find it hard is the whole grain stuff. The rest.. no problem.

If you all don’t know by now, I am quite technically challenged. If not for my spouse owning a computer/entertainment store, i wouldn’t have any clue about one cables from another. And yes.. they do make a difference.. high quality cables will give you better end results as I soon found later. HDMI cables are those cables that I was talking about and at affordable prices too.

Well.. as you can see.. as soon as we checked into the hotel.. freshed up.. we went food hunting. Good thing the malls were still open at 7pm.. for we thought.. that were like home.. and would be closed by 6pm. But nope.. we were in luck.. and with some directions from the good looking front desk guy.. who was originally from Y-town… we arrived at Halifax Shopping Center within minutes. Headed to the food court.. and had Tempura Udon.. and PB had a sandwich from Subway..!! Ya.. he is SO ADVENTUROUS..!! one has gotta admire his eating habits..! Sorry no pictures.. because i was too greedy. Besides the udon that i shared with the brat.. I had Inari-sushi, the udon was great.. although the tempura was soggy.. and the Inari - sushi was so-so. Not bad.. but nothing to jump up and down about.

Many years ago, one wouldn’t think that one can afford a plasma tv at all. You see it on tv of course… or the movies.. in those stylo-malo James Bond movies.. but now.. plasma tvs are so affordable.. it’s the “thing” to get.. for the man.. and the movie lovers. But of course with the plasma.. comes the plasma tv lifts, I love it. If I have a plasma tv.. I would definitely get one of those, they not only save space, but also very stylish… just like some millionaire’s gadget.

Before we left for the city and put Keegan in charge.. we had told her to decorate the window if she can.. if not .. not to worry. .coz’ you all know what happened last year right..?? with Ms Selfish..??

When we came back from the city.. we did drive by the store.. and lo and behold.. we were shocked to see drawings on the windows and all.. with Santa and candy canes.. and stockings… and lights were up.. and all. Very impressive .. for someone drawing and painting with free hand.. and to think that we thought Ms Selfish .. had a special talent..! well.. guess what.. Keegan has special talent too.. and definitely ain’t complaining about being stressed up with dressing up the window.
