I’ve been in Canada for 7 yrs now. .and the amount of time i’ve eaten fresh pineapples are less than 10 times. Most times i eat them at Aunt Helena’s when we visit my in-law’s on Sunday… and it’s not even because I am stingy about it. But buying a whole pineapple for 5.99 most days.. is just not worth it .. when you are eating it alone.

Yes.. quite the ironic .. if you ask me.. back home we have them at the wet market for $1.00 and in Bangkok or anywheres in Thailand is like 20 cents. As asians.. we all love pineapples .. but you and i know that pineapples are not the best fruits to take .. for a women.. as per old wives tale. Nope .. PB doesn’t eat them. nor does the brat.. so usually .. i end up throwing them out.. so “sayang” .. therefore i never buy them unless they are on sale.. which is still ex.. ! Grrrrrrrhhhh..!!

When you walked into your friendly grocery store.. and you see these… you know tis’ the season..! I love fruit cakes.. ! what about you..?? they have different kinds of fruit cakes here.. from the light.. to the dark.. to the ones with marzipan and the ones with walnut topping. As much as I love them.. i won’t buy them.. because i can’t even finish just one fruit cake.. and it always ends up a year later.. in my fridge. .and ready to throw out. It is just too sweet.
