Watched this with Chloe the other day.. and is all about a rat named Remy who arrives in Paris to find his cooking idol dead. But it never stopped his adventure in search for fine food. We did laugh alot.. but Chloe loved it most. Wished we had seen this in a theatre instead.

Many moons ago.. back home in Singapore.. i fixed anything from setting up a VCR to stereo.. or anything electrical on my own.. and at my mum’s home. Some of the guys that i know.. donch even know how to tune the tv channels into the VCR for recording back then. But I.. yours truly was called upon .. everytime for task like this.

Yesterday.. i was taking a shower.. and turned on my ipod.. but it didn’t wanna work.. battery dead.. i assumed.. ! so brought it out.. and had PB charged and checked it for 10mins.

Went into the bathroom.. and started the iPod.. but the volume didn’t wanna come out.. and it was horrid on the speakers.. tried as i might.. to adjust it.. for 5 mins.. it wouldn’t work. So i gave up..!! After my shower.. i showed it to PB .. who in turn showed me it was pretty easy.. hahahah!! what a gadget idiot i am..!! and back then.. i was the gadget hero..! now how did i turn from hero to idiot..?? blame it on PB.

Being a flight attendant or what we call back home an air steward is not an easy one but it is sure everyone’s dream because not only can you make good money, you get to go on vacations every month or more.. without having to pay for it. You get to travel around the world and soak in the culture, sightsee, and experience another kind of life without having to live there.

My youngest aunt wanted a flight attendant career, much to the dismay of my grandfather, for he wanted her to be a nurse. He thinks that a flight attendant is a glamorous title for being a “high class waitress”. But for years, my aunt persisted and perserve, and because of that, just before my grandfather pass away.. he realized that my aunt actually had a pretty good job.

if you are like my aunt, and wants to be flight attendant and travel the world, then attend the courses at the flight attendant school, where special programs are targetted for people who wnats to make a career thru’ flying.

It’s here on DVD next week..!! and i can’t wait to watch it..! i missed it at the movies.. because we had to work.. and we really wanted to bring chloe along.. but didn’t know how she was gonna react .. while in the movies… and we being the good parents that we are.. we never wanna inconvenience anyone.. who would be watching with us.. with her crying and all.. so we decided to wait for it on DVD. I heard it was pretty good.. so i really can’t wait to watch it.. and the brat really loves the 1st and 2nd Shrek. This time.. they have babies too.. !! woo hoo..!!

The things ppl do for love eh..?? Having to wake up and be on the road by 5.30am.. and then taking a 4hrs bus ride… and all. And then coming home the next day at 11pm only. I really wished .. i can show her.. that many years from now.. when she look back.. she might be wondering why she went into all this effort… for we all know.. that BGR at this age.. mmmmm… just well.. lets say.. a waste of time… but nope.. ain’t gonna tell her that.. coz’ we all have to go thru’ it.

Tell me who hasn’t right..?? so in terms of my brat.. when she is older… i too .. will have to learn how to shut up .. when the time comes. Oh well..! now i know what my mum had to go thru’.
