If you are guessing this new Nokia phone is mine.. than you are wrong. This belongs to Keegan and she just got it yesterday. Yes.. the kids here changed phones like nobody’s business. I lost count how many times.. Keegan upgraded her phone. It’s a very nice phone of course.. but not something i would want. Maybe it is because i’m alot older now. . and all the gimmick that comes along with the cell phone deals.. just doesn’t seems attractive to me.. as it did.. some 20 yrs ago.

Charity During Christmas

Filed under: Health, Useful Links 101 - Mama BoK @ 8:22 pm

Charity work has always been important in our family. We try to do our bit as much as we can. When my daughter was younger, we used to keep all the labels of Heinz to donate to the hospital because they get a 5 cents a piece for them from Heinz. So instead of saving the labels for toys for my daughter.. I had painstakingly, removed all the labels and donated it to the IWK hospital in Halifax.

Well.. every year we try to donate something to the hospital, whether it is money or stuff that the hospital can find useful for. This year, we’ve decided that some healthcare cart, would be a great idea for our charity work. What about you..?? do you do your bit for charity..?

As an Asian in Canada, we look for any opportunity to upgrade ourselves. The Canadians are very lucky folks because, very unlike Asia, you are hired for your skills and knowledge and they never get redundant. It doesn’t matter how old you are, as long as you fit the job, you will be hired. No discrimination about age, race, religion or even how you look.

Therefore a career change is not uncommon here at all. And since alot of women folks in Canada take long absence of leave from work after having children, triOS College, gives you the opportunity to expand your future and help you find a new career that you are longing for. triOS College offers many courses to fit your lifestyle and help you fulfil your dreams for the future.
