Package With Love

Filed under: Uncategorized, Family/From the Heart, Around The World - Mama BoK @ 8:08 pm

This is the second package that came this month for Chloe and I. The first was from Irene from Alberta - Bit & Pieces and now another big package from USA. This is from Chloe’s Auntie Greenapple.. (to-be-chinese godparents) , inside were goodies for both Chloe and I and another very thoughtful gift of wedding pictures and a CD of her wedding. Wait i post all pictures up later ya..!

I was kinda afraid .. that it might not arrived.. because this isn’t the first time.. Greenapple sent gifts of food.. and presents to us. But i guess it took so long.. because .. custom stopped it.. as it wasn’t declared. So they opened it up apparently.. and kept it there for a few weeks longer.

Thank you very much.. Greenapple..!! we love all your gift.. and chloe is very amused with hers. Pictures to follow ya.. :)

Lockers MarketPlace

Filed under: Uncategorized - Mama BoK @ 7:56 pm

The schools here have lockers for the students and collects a small fee of $20.00 per year from each student. Unlike back home.. students have to bring a full bag of books.. just to attend a 8 period of different classes in a day. One cannot help but feel sorry for these Asian kids. Some have book bags heavier than themselves, which makes me wonder why schools in asia .. do not have School Lockers, for their students.. like we do have here. What is the logic of making the poor kid lugged so many textbooks and exercise books everyday to school and might not even use it.. except for the textbooks.

Steel Lockers would be ideal. .for older school children.. while Plastic lockers are ideal for those in pre-school and primary school. Surely, it cannot be the school has no fundings for these lockers, for i know that the government subsidize alot of things when it comes to the education for the kids. And it’s not like they are not affordable. Lockerixhange has low prices and is your fully customized locker solution designed for your specific needs.

I’ll smack the shit outta my kid.. if she ever do that..!!! can’t watch them 24hrs a day.. ??!!!!?? Sure.. but to be so stupid.. that the kid can take the car keys. .and try driving..?? and then knocked down the power transformer..?? leaving folks in the area without electricity.. and nothing..?? Someone should freaking give the brat a good spanking with a wooden spoon..!

Furnishing The House

Filed under: Uncategorized - Mama BoK @ 2:10 pm

I pride myself for having good taste when it comes to furnishing my house. The men sure don’t know that the value of your home is raised.. when you have a proper furnished home. Something as simple as lighting , can enhance and change the whole room, if the right ones were chosen to hang in different rooms.

I’ve always wanted to portray my house as a warm house. Not stark bright like the ones my mom’s used to have. She likes it bright coz’ she can see better she said.. ! our childhood home looked like the hospital instead..! Minka lavery lighting is the perfect choice for some of our rooms, their designs are very unique and exquisite. Whether you are going for the contemporary look, the traditional one or even something like the mini-rod-drops for your dining area, they are all at a price you cannot resist.

Furnishing your home or home improvement need not cost an arm and a leg, choosing wisely on lighting that suit the whole concept/theme of your house, a room at a time, like those of Forecast Lighting can add class even to your bathroom using the Arch Collection. I bet your guests to your house will make you the talk of talk just for that.

Only So Much One Can Take

Filed under: Brat Stuff, Random Ranting, The Other Half - Mama BoK @ 12:33 pm

I’m staying home with the brat.. so the PB can take a break. Afterall, one can only take so much.. with the brat right..! not sleeping for almost 2 weeks now. Waking up at all hours in the nite.. and the morning.. and if we are not in the puter room with her.. she would be in our room.. waking us up.. to go be with her.. while she tries and go back to sleep.

Well.. she only let me sleep like at 5am this morning. .and got up at 8am.. wanted me up with her.. but i was too tired.. so PB went to be with her.. and didn’t managed to go back to sleep.. because she wasn’t sleeping good. So PB got like maybe 5hrs of sleep at the most…?? So when i got up.. i decided that the brat and I should stay home.. so that PB .. can go to work.. and not have to deal with the brat… for today.

Yes.. one can only take so much.. and i’m exhausted.. and PB is coughing his lungs out..!

Racing For A Hobby

PB’s cousin, Mel is into car racing for a few years now. And she has been racing in Lake Doucette out in Chattanooga for a few years now.. and she won some prizes. I’ll have to say she is one cool chick, knowing all about lowering the car’s center of gravity with a mustang suspension, to give her more balance when she is racing. All her car services are done excellently. I know she really enjoys her racing and if you ever met her, you’ll never know she is into such a thrilling and exhilarating sport.

Price Chopper Closing

Filed under: Business/Career, Random Ranting, This Town - Mama BoK @ 12:12 am

“A Yarmouth grocery store is closing, putting 32 people out of work. Price Chopper on Starrs Road will close Oct 20th. The store is owned by grocery giant Sobeys. Jill Thomas-Myreck, Director of Communication with Sobey’s Atlantic, says the closure of Price Chopper was a business decision. She says they are working with employees to help them with possible employment opportunities including the Sobey’s store in Yarmouth.”

Sad..?? yup..! after all.. one wouldn’t think that grocery giant would close down one of it subsidiaries. I don’t shop very much in Price Chopper, coz’ i can’t seems to find the things i need there. The staff are not the friendliest… plus the meat is not very fresh. But the in-laws do shop there.. and it’s still sad to see such a long time business closing it’s door .. and at such short notice .. ?? 8 days from today.
