I’m a very simple person.. and simple stuff makes me smile. My FIL sent this over by email. And i’m sure.. it’s because it amuses him.. that a few japanese men can play so well.. with their banjos and violin and guitar.. and singing a country song. I really donch ask for much and i’m easily pleased.

A fleet of cars just passed by our store… and all horning happily away..! This happens almost every Saturday.. when you find some suckers getting hitched..! Yes.. they get into the car.. from the church to wherever they are gonna have the reception.. and they horn away. At first i found it cute.. but after 7 yrs.. i find it really annoying.. especially if you have a sick spouse.. and a fussy brat.. who insist on camping in the store.

Teak wood furnitures are very popular not only at our home but commercially as well. I fell in love with Teak Wood furnitures because the hotel that I used to work in uses them where the pool deck is. I used to wonder with folks coming out from the pool all wet and then sitting on those pool chairs made from wood, wouldn’t the bench/chair rot easily. Well.. it looked like my worries were unfounded because teak wood are the most durable and they never rot for centuries due to the fact that it can withstand any outdoor weather condition, it is the best investment one can buy.

So if you are like me and love BBQs during summer and the fall, teak garden furniture, are not only beautiful but certainly the highest quality of wood furniture you can find around the world. And of course you can buy any wooden benches that are real cheap.. but everytime the weather turns cold or when it starts to rain.. you’ll just have to run out . .and bring the benches into the basement to save it from being ruin by the rain. Fortunately, for us.. our teak benches need not make us run in and out of our house .. when the weather is not favorable. Because like i said.. teak is weather resistant due to the natural rubber content and a high oil content in it and acts as a built in natural water repellent. And when it is exposed to the sun, it activates natural oil. So if you are looking out for good and long lasting outdoor furnitures, be it teak chairs, or tables, or anything, you can count on teak.

PB ain’t feeling good..! he has a cold..! what a bummer eh..?? we know for sure.. that we are all gonna get it.. too..! you know how it is.. chain reaction thingie.

Plus Keegan is outta town this weekend..! Muahahahah!! see it always happens when we donch have help. And plus.. we have to work the whole day..! poor PB…!! The price of being the BOSS..??!!??

And i’ve noticed.. that PB is always the one catching something first.. and then passing it around to us. But then PB is the one that gets close to the customers all the time.. so you know how it is lah..!

We don’t have a Ikea in our town, the nearest one is in another state and even with online buying available, they only ship to their warehouse in the city and that’s 4 hrs away from where i lived.

I need a pink office chair badly because the one in the our store is giving up on me. No one in town carries a pink one but studio RTA furniture does and at a price reasonable too. Free shipping is offered, what better deal can one get..!

I’m sure you’ve heard that Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, there is even a song for it, if i am not wrong. As for me, i never liked the solitaire ring, i’m into a band of diamonds, it’s looks alot nicer, to me anyways.

This anniversary, I was hinting about getting one and showed a catalogue full of diamond rings to the husband. I hope he gets the hint. And I also made sure he knows i don’t like those solitaire diamonds, you see men can be quite blur when it comes to buying jewelry for their girlfriends and even wife of a thousand years.

DO NOT..! give your young children cough and cold medication as the products pose serious health risks.. US Health Officials said.

“children under the age of two should not use decongestants and those under age six should not be given antihistamine medicines.”

The FDA wants warning labels to be added to prescription and over-the-counter cough and cold medicines, cautioning parents about potential overdose risks for toddlers. So why is cough and cold medication relentlessly marketed when it’s not safe or effective? So what do one use.. if cough and cold medication is not safe..?? Doctors advised parents to give their children lots of fluids and wait out the course of the cold in place of giving children cold medicines. Children under two might suffer serious adverse side-effects if given cough and cold medicine.

Ok.. no more cough and cold medication for our Chloe..!

Back home in Singapore.. Used Cars weren’t that popular even though cars were very expensive. I have no idea why but i am guessing is the Asian mentality that used things may not be as good or they may break down. Most friends that i know wouldn’t even consider a used car.

And the strangest thing here in Canada is .. everyone is into used cars, my father-in-law buys used autos all the time. I guess the men here are really handy .. and they know exactly what to look out for when buying a used auto..?? We will not be getting any rest day for this Saturday because Keegan is going to visit her b/f in another town. As you all know.. her b/f is away.. for school. It is quite taxing .. with Keegan gone.. but she had babysat another day for us during the week to make up for going away this weekend… but we still won’t be able to shop on a Saturday.. like we have had planned.. because we need to work full day.. like any normal day.
