This is a Real Bear !
No kidding..! this is a real bear.. shot and hunted down .. by one of my customer and he had it in his truck last nite..! already skinned and ready to be made into a bear skin rug for his wall. My camera battery died.. if not i would have had a better picture for you all. But it’s a REAL BEAR..!! ppl here hunt down moose for their meat.. and real bears..!! amazing eh..?? I think I would freeze if i see such a huge bear..!! Hunting is a sport here.. that you will never get in Singapore.. and that’s for sure..!

Is it legal? I know it is illegal here..unless the authority has no choice (if the bear is vicious).

hunting bear is legal so is for moose. you just hv to get a license. everything has to be reported back to the park ppl.hunting in newfoundland is somewhat sport but also for meat. i am not sure what fence they sit on as my father in law hunt moose, seal and bear. they dont keep the bear fur though i know u can get them tanned but super expensive, almost $3K. for my in laws eat all the meat and distribute amongst family members and friends as well.
in nunavut, only inuit are allowed to hunt. southerners are only allowed to fish and hunt caribou. Inuits are allowed to hunt whales and polar bears. They skin the bear and get it tanned. its illegal to transport bear skin to US though some ppl in greenland are quite desperate for money that they will do it for the americans. we saw a polar bear full tanned skin in our community and it was old and he was desperate to sell it, it was CAN$2K. but if he was not desperate and its new, it can run up to $15K.
