If i weren’t afraid of dead ppl and mortuary, I would have become a nurse or even a doctor. But i’m handicapped because i’m a wimp… muahahha!! For years and years.. i’ve known all along. .that nursing pays not only well.. it is one profession.. that will never be too much ..! For generations.. during my grandfather’s time, he had wanted my aunt to go into nursing.. and to please him.. she did. One of my uncle was the head of the nursing school back home. And one of our favourite customer’s wife is also heading the nursing dept here.

With the loonie so strong here in Canada.. it’s enough to lure some nurses back from the States. I know alot have gone to the States to work. Maybe the strong loonie will work for us this time.. instead of against us. Nurses and doctors are a great shortage here in Nova Scotia and with more and more nurses retiring.. we’ll need to do more than just giving them more pay. I hope the government will act on it and take advantage of the currency situation.
