We just can’t get over .. how much chloe loves her grampie’s corn. She needs no prompting .. when it comes to eating corn. And to think that a year ago.. she would have nothing to do with it. My in-laws are so amused.. watching her chomp those corns down.

Well.. guess what.. ?? Aunt Helena is in Toronto again..!! woohoo..! lucky old gal..! She was up in Maine with Aunt Sandra and Uncle Garth.. for the blue grass festival.. and then she headed to Toronto to visit her children. Impromptu decision .. i heard.

And Aunt Sandra and Uncle Garth is in Europe for 2 weeks .. on Vacation..!!! and us.. we didn’t go nowhere.. during the summer.. not even upper clements park. And guess who promised.. that we would at least get outta town this summer..!! Arrrrggghhh..!!

If i could turned the clock back, I would have taken up studies in health care. You hear how short-handed the hospital is .. on a daily basis and you hear how good the benefits are …for any health care provider and any one with a health care degree is welcome in any country around the world. There is no short of employment in this area at all. Opportunities are aplenty in the health care industry.

My fibroids had been acting up for the last couple of days.. and if you noticed.. i haven’t been talking much to anyone… because of it. Painkiller helped a wee bit.. but not much this time.

PB had been a great help.. he cooked.. he washed.. he folded the laundry.. vacuum the house.. and changed the sheets.. without me prompting and asking. And looked after the brat.. so i can get some good rest.. and not be pounced on my tummy.

Yes.. the man is GOOD..!

I wrote about Pavarotti in my other blog on the 6th September.. just before he passed away. As the world gave a final ovation to this great man.. i too in my own way .. observed a minute of silence for this man who never knew me.

I’ve followed Pavarotti’s career very closely ever since i first joined the hotel industry because the general manager of the hotel i was in loves opera music. I’ve never met this great man personally but I’ve seen him performed in 1991 in Hyde Park London, I can still remember the concert vividly till today. I was in London, acquiring another hotel for the ppl i was working for.

The world is sad.. and so am I .. but everyone is so proud of him.. so am I. Rest in peace.. Mr Pavarotti..! Your legend lives on.

I donch really consider myself as a working mom.. but the store does take up alot of our time. And one thing i really feel bad.. is when i donch get to cook for my brat.. because of my damn fibroids. And when I do.. nothing pleases me that much.. knowing she is getting the best kinda food to eat. No msg.. no preservative.. and all wholesome.. and not too much oil in her food.

How many of you mothers who work.. and donch work cook for your kids..?? Do you feel bad.. when you donch.. and they have to eat take outs.. ??? I do.. i feel so terrible.. !! sometimes.. i get really sick of myself.. and mind you it’s not even because i’m lazy to cook.. but because my fibroids just ain’t helping.

We have kids that comes into our store.. at all times of the day.. and everytime they come in.. Chloe just loves to play with them. Now all is fine.. till they wanna leave.. and then after saying goodbyes.. and exchanging hugs .. sometimes.. even kisses.. and then she will go hide.. in a corner.. and cry.

And when you ask her why she is sulking.. she would say.. “I’m mad..! ” the lil’ gal left…!!

Yes.. my very emotional gal.. who one day told PB .. “I donch have any friends..!” I think it’s time to send her to pre-school.
