I had said many a times.. this is a fishing town right..?? but i also had forgotten to mention that we have many fish plants in this town.. and half the population of this town.. works in the fish plant. It is hard work. .but pays very well.. plus you get to claim unemployment.. because it is a seasonal job.

But when you are just done work.. in the fish plant.. please go home.. and donch come out till you are showered like 3 times.. because coming into our store.. and staying for 20mins.. just stinks up the whole store for me. .and all my Body Shop’s home fragrance.. will go wasted. So folks if you smell like fish.. please donch come into our store.. unless it is a case of life and death.

It’s the hurricane season here in Canada.. and we may be hit by it. We are just a week away from the peak season of this climate change. Newfoundland saw a post tropical storm last week, lots of rain and flooding there.

We were hit hardest in 2003, when Hurricane Juan smashed through NS, we ere very lucky .. because it missed us in Yarmouth, but Halifax was hit really hard. Seven people dead and more than $100 million in damages.

So if you donch see me online for a few days.. or a week.. donch panic.. it prolly means our town is hit by the storm.

Sometimes, when i read on another blogger’s blog about how mad they get.. when they cannot do as much opps .. or that they get all upset.. and cranky.. when their internet is down.. and cannot complete their assignments.. it makes me really sad. Why..?? because shouldn’t our kids be more important above everything else..?? It makes me reflect on my actions.. and check if I am too neglecting my kid..just because i wanna pick up abit of money here and there.

We claimed to spend quality time with our kids.. but are we really kidding ourselves..? I donch have a maid at home.. who could help me .. to accompany my brat.. everyday.. and 24hrs a day nor help me to do my housework. I have a babysitter who comes in 3 times a week.. during the summer because she is on school holiday.. but once school starts, Keegan goes back to her 2 days a week .. for babysitting instead of 3. My MIL comes only when line-dancing starts and babysits for me.. while waiting for her Bingo session to start at 7pm.

So how do one balance it all..?? what is fair to your kids.. and your family and home.. and if you are working.. is it right.. ?? to do paid posting.. during office hours..?? when you are being paid.. to work for someone else..??

Well.. guess who didn’t turn up on Monday, yes.. the very dishonest woman.. of Not Trustworthy. We didn’t call or anything.. because we expected it.. and she is gonna say.. the bank wasn’t open yesterday.. because of Labour Day. But guess what ..?? this morning.. the games and movies she rented on last Friday.. turned up in our drop off basket.. 3 days late..! and of course no sign of Mrs Untrustworthy..!

Well.. Mrs Untrustworthy is gonna get a visit tonite.. and will be losing her gamecube system.. and whatever not .. that we can get ..! And her bounced cheque is gonna go up my wall of shame..! muahahahah!!

Even as an adult now, we all still have the little child in us and comic books are never too young for all of us. Tell me who haven’t had their favorite comic books.. that they stash away to share with their friends when they were in high school or even as young as grade school.

And because of that project, they were inspired to express the action adventure stories they had grown up with and turn it into an art form.

Rostam is the main warrior hero in this comic book, keeping in mind with most comic book tradition, blending rich folklore and tradition into this comic, the first adaptation of Shahnameh was launched. A trilogy was put together after many years of hardwork in research, translation and adaptation. A deeper message and/or fable of wisdom and advice overlays the main story was achieved. A definitely “must owned” comic for in July, Rostam comic book was added to the Asian Art Museum store in San Francisco, California. I’ll have to say it’s a cool comic book to be on display there till mid - September.

I’ve said to all .. about all relationships are ..over in this small town of ours. Ppl get together.. stay together.. and a few months down the road.. they kick their b/fs out.. and then go with another man.

Moreso, this town.. loves the way younger man.. and older woman relationship. In our line of business… we get to know the ppl .. and today itself.. we heard that a customer of ours.. isn’t together anymore. She has 3 other kids.. with someone else.. and 1 with him.. he is but a kid.. when they got together.. and she looks like his mother. I was wondering.. how long .. this relationship was gonna last. And it did last .. longer than i had expected.

But nope.. cradle robbing donch work for everyone. I’m a cradle robber too.. muahahahha!! PB is way younger than I .. about 8 yrs, but seriously i donch look like his mother or his sister.. and thank God.. for that..! coz’ i wouldn’t know how to face ppl if i were like my customer.. who looked every bit like his mother.. and a way older sister. My advice.. to ppl who wants to cradle rob.. make sure.. the spouse looks way older than you .. and must be bigger size ya..! this one.. 3 times his size.. !! “malu-ration..!!”
