This evening coming home from work. .we went by the grocery store to pick up a few things. Happy, happy we were .. because we had a really good day at the store. And we were asking Chloe to pick between her horsey ride or go for car wash.. since we didn’t have time for both. In the grocery store we were in discussing what to pick up .. so we donch miss anything.. and guess who we caught a glimpse of.. for a second..?? that sent shudders down my spine.

An ex-worker.. whom i had thought had left town by now.. but nope.. she was still around. And to think that i might have endangered my own daughter.. by entrusting my daughter to her.. to play with everyday for more than a year. My great-grandmother used to say. “know the person, know the face .. but you never know the heart!” How true.. Grandma..! how true..!

If you donch know by now.. Nova Scotia is a well known place for lobster fishing.. and anything to do with fishing. But yes.. lobster fishermen are a huge thing here. Tell the bank that you are a fisherman.. they will literally beg you to take their money.. ! muahahha!! and nope.. i ain’t joking.. it’s true..!

But folks.. you don’t have to come to Nova Scotia now.. to buy lobsters.. from Nova Scotia. Sears your furniture giant has teamed up with Clearwater Lobster from Halifax to sell you high quality shellfish. But I think they only deliver to places around Canada and guarantees freshness, as compared to your local store.

I guess if i weren’t in Nova Scotia, i just might do that.. order from Sears.ca

And some has really bad kids..! and the funniest thing i always hear is .. “it’s the kid’s fault..!! i’ve done my best..!” or even funnier.. “I’ve got no help..! i did it alone..!! so therefore my kid is bad..! ”

Many a times.. i just bite my tongue..!! but actually what i wanna say is.. “Lady.. if your kid is bad.. he or she has gotta learn it somewhere.. !! if your kid is bad.. it’s not the kid’s fault..!! it is yours..!!”

My mother have 4 kids.. she works full time.. and she did it all alone.. because my dad is a good-for-nothing.. yet we all 4 were good kids.. when we were younger. We never did what these kids here do..! like breaking into people’s houses.. or stealing cars.. or running away with boyfriends at 13. One thing i learn from my mother’s upbringing is never to nag at your kids. Learn to listen.. learn to empathize. Very important.

Line Dancing is starting again soon.. !! in a few weeks.. to be exact.. ! i read in the local papers today. Nah.. not me.. i’m not into line dancing.. but my MIL and Aunt Helena is. So what does it all mean..?? Babysitting with Grammie on Tuedays..!! Woo Hoo..!! more free time for me..!

I can’t remember if Grammie does line dancing during the winter.. but i am assuming not. But that’s ok.. between now and winter.. i’ll still get more rest… at the store.. .and Chloe can bond again with Grammie.

Apparently, the warden of Argyle, Aldric d’Entremont had announced during the Dwight Deon, Canadian Idol finalist visit home last weekend .. that on behalf of the citizens in Pubnico, a street in West Pubnico is now going to be renamed Dwights Way. And what’s more..??!!!?? He was presented with a freaking street sign..!!

OMG..!! what else is next..?? oh well.. small town.. so small mentality..?? Homeboy made good.. and a street name after him. Cool..??

This was my dinner on Monday. And yes.. I had dinner at about 8.20pm at the store. Usually we like to eat before going home.. so we can either concentrate on the brat or do housework. But as you can see.. the bread is broken.. in parts. The person who did this sandwich for me.. obviously knows and i wonder how she thinks i am able to maneuver the deli sandwich and eat it..??
