2 gals came into the store a few days ago.. and tried to tell me a story about a mobile phone they picked up. There were no charger to the phone.. it was deactivated and they were trying to sell it to the store just for a few bucks.

The gals were young.. i donch think they were more than 14yrs old .. and if they had picked it up.. why didn’t they turn it in..?? and why would i buy a phone that is deactivated .. and maybe was disconnected because they owed so much on the phone… or worst stolen.

Many years ago. .when PB first started this business.. we have had ppl coming in with cellphone/mobile phone.. and trying to pawn them on us. We learned the hard way .. because with all the glamorous stories that came with it.. the phones were usually not resell able. Sure we prolly lost like 20 bucks a phone.. but it’s still money. I still cannot fathom why there are so many ppl who are doing stuff like that.. after all these years. This is such a small town.. and the gals were pretty gals too.. ! what a pity ..!

Shocked..?? Kinda..!! Constable stealing gas.. ! what to expect next from this town.. ??

Chargedwith 2 counts of fraud and 1 count of theft and 1 count of breach of trust. He is accused of filling plastic gas cans and paying for them with a government vehicle credit card. He is currently suspended WITH PAY..!! can die or not..??

We all know that as government officers .. anywheres in the world.. they actually get pay better than most ppl. Well.. here in Canada they do. The cops i know have got nicer and bigger houses than us..! and if he was charged.. how come got pay leh..?? Yes.. this is the huge human right thing .. here in Canada..! Not guilty till proven guilty thing. Things are really different here.. i tell ya.. ! Ppl born here are surely lucky i have to say.

There are loads of blogging mummies out there.. and some have very young children.. and some are having another coming. The reason why I am concerned is because when Chloe was about 6 months old.. we brought her up to Halifax.. because I needed a check up in IWK hospital for my immigration work. The hotel that we stayed in did have a playpen .. for Chloe to sleep in .. and I think .. it’s the same that was mentioned in the news today.

I know that you spent really good money on your CD, and that you want to be able to listen to it while you’re working out, but sometimes the machines at the gym are louder than a construction zone. We all know that the Canadians protest alot.. ! Not that ppl from other places donch..! but trust me.. the Canadians protest ALOT..!! especially about pay dispute..! So i wasn’t surprised at all.. when 500 protesters took part in a march outside the hotel, carrying signs with slogans such as “No to Americanada.” in Quebec when the three Amigos met.
