You sometimes gotta wonder ..what ppl are thinking about..?? The NSLC (Nova Scotia Liquor Corp) marketing department just announced today that they will be using Coconut Scent in selected stores across Nova Scotia.

“When we talk about liquors, mixed drinks, that kind of thing, you think of pina coladas, margaritas, so that’s why the smell of coconut.”

So here I walk into a liquor store.. and wanna go get a case of beer.. and then .. i am supposed to smell this coconut smell..and think of pina coladas..?? And then turn around .. and buy some..??

“it just helps support that whole ambience of the store”

Ok.. now i’m really confused..! ambience..?? coconut scent.. and ambience..?? ok.. now .. that’s some weird and odd thinking .. donch you think..?? “Subliminal” was the response that they have already gotten from some customers. What do you think..?? would you want to smell the scent of coconut in a liquor store..?? Personally, I wouldn’t mind.. but it does nothing for me.. if i was in a liquor store to buy a bottle of wine.. or a case of beer for my brother-in-law or father-in-law. So why waste money.. eh..??

Yesterday, while visiting my MIL .. i finally remembered to bring back her pyrex bowl that she loan me.. when she gave me some baked rice for Chloe a few weeks ago.

When i handed over the bowl to my MIL .. she said to me. ” i thought you were supposed to return the bowl with something in it..??” then she laughed. In which I replied.. “I’m Canadianized..!” muaahahhahahahahaha!!!

Yes.. i love my in-laws to bits.. coz’ they have such good sense of humor..! and nope.. i have to stress .. i’m not gonna get this with a chinese MIL and that’s for sure..!

They donch have to buy houses.. because the Native Community will build them a house in the reserve .. and they sort of live by their own codes.

And donch you play, play with the natives here.. because .. the Federal Government and courts are paying out 1.9 billion to former students who claimed to be sexually, physically and/or psychologically abused at the 130 schools that were jointly run by the government.. and religious organization until the mid 70s.

You will never find this kinda compensation .. as much as $34K for each individual .. in Asia, not from the garmen nor the individual. So why Canada so special leh..?? Asians not as “laku” ka..??

We were preparing to leave for Grammie’s place yesterday.. and Chloe was shouting. “CANDY RAINBOW…!! CANDY RAINBOW..!!”

I tell yer.. my brat never fails to amaze me.. !! i donch know where she gets that smart mouth from… And i’m pretty sure.. i wasn’t able to say something like that.. when i was 3.5yrs old.. hahhaha!!

. Well.. for those of you .. who donch know how I look like.. here it is.. Taken when Chloe was about 6 months old.. no make up.. and no lipsticks… just plain old jane.. .me.. I donch think i changed very much. And the funny thing is .. I lost more weight having Chloe than anytime in my life.

While we are here preparing for a nice Sunday outing.. Hurricane Dean Roars into Jamaica and the Jamaicans are preparing to get pounded..!

I donch know if you are aware of it or not.. but Canadians.. loves to take their holidays in the Caribbean.. and one of the spots they go to.. on a yearly basis is Jamaica. I hear that some from Canada is stranded there.. because Air Canada had canceled some flights.

Those in Cayman Islands are stranded because flights are only operated on Sundays. And airports are closed on late Saturday nite..! I would really be devastated.. if i were there on holiday and can’t find alternative to bring my families home safely .. and what about those who have got loved ones stranded there.. and can’t do anything.. because the airport is closed..?? Can’t even hire a private jet.. to bring them home.

So say you have someone in Cayman Islands.. and no flights going there till sunday.. what would you do..?? Yes.. i would try to hire a private jet.. to bring them home. I know it’s gonna be expensive.. but i’ll do what it takes.. to bring them home for sure. Even if it means.. everything i have. What about you..?? What would you do..??
