I think i should start a series of .. “My Brat Says The Darnest Things”!

Yesterday evening.. i gave the lil’ brat some grapes to eat.. and when she was done a bowl.. she came into the computer room to ask for more. But before I can asked her to count the grapes.. she said to me.. “i donch wanna count”, so I counted for her instead.. and she did follow silently with the count.

After giving her 10 more grapes.. she said to me.. “Thank you.. Mom..!! yer the best..!!” muahahahha!! now where did she picked that up from.. i’m amused.

If she asked for something and you refused to give in.. after many pleading of please, please, please, please. She would quickly change to .. “please and thank you” till you give in. And she would say it simultaneously .. “please and thank you . .please and thank you…!” you get the drift right..??

This week at the store.. as usual.. we see alot of ppl coming into the store.. to sell you just about everything.. and even the KIDS..!! yup.. i’m talking about 12 - 14 yrs old kids..!!

Yesterday .. two teenage kids came in to sell some very old children VHS ..! hear me right ok.. VHS..! just so they can get a few bucks..! I donch understand it at all..! why do they need to do that..?? when i was a kid.. we didn’t have very much money..! but we never go sell anything.. that we owned.. or given to us as gift. Donch their parents know what they are doing..??

It irks me to no end.. when i see kids starting this young.. doing stuff like that.. because i know for sure.. when they get older.. you know what they are gonna do.. right..?? try to steal from their family first.. and sell their stuff.. and then steal from their friends.. and sell their stuff.. and then steal from whoever they can ripped off.

Parents of these kids.. donch understand that it starts young.. and if you donch curb the situation .. immediately .. your kids are just going to go down the ditch. Now i am not talking about those.. who sells to upgrade or to buy something newer.. when the parents are with them. Now those kids are smart.. and taught well to bargain.. and barter and trade .. there is a lot of difference with those kids.. and those that comes in alone… or with their equally young b/f to do stuff secretly.

Is this the society’s wrong..?? or just a different culture.. from what I am used to..??

Yup.. ! the annual shark scramble is this weekend..! I’ve always enjoyed the shark scramble.. seeing the boats come in.. and the sharks getting weigh in.. it’s a magnificent sight i tell ya.

This year.. i heard that they are only allowed to bring in one shark per boat. The prize is $3000 in cash.. if i am not wrong.. but take a look at the shark that was caught in 2004.. magnificent right..??
