TreeHouse
The lil’ brat is very much into the local children’s tv channel.. call the Treehouse. We have alot of shows recorded .. when Chloe was younger.. since we did subscribe to cable at that time.. and when we decided to do away with cable.. a few years ago.. we recorded alot of Treehouse cartoons and educational show for her.
And it’s a good thing we did.. coz’ it sure paid off. It’s on video tapes.. and she learned so much from watching Treehouse that has good programs like Sesame Streets, Dora, Blue Clue’s, the Comfy Couch and more.
At first i didn’t quite like the fact that she is watching so much TV .. but after seeing how much she learned from it.. i didn’t mind it so much anymore. And the brat has got good memory too.. she could tell you what was coming up next.. after watching it just once.
So do you let your kids watch tv shows alot too..?? you mind ..?? or if they are educational you donch mind..??? Some folks thinks it’s bad to watch too much tv.. for various reasons… what about you .???
I let Jaymes watch TV when he was younger, even now. It does help in his languages and general knowledge. He’s not addicted to it.
One disadvantage is, he’s so used to sounds and movements on TV that he doesn’t read much books.

I think Chloe is the same way now.. doesn’t like reading alot of books.
and i really donch want the lil’ brat to be addicted to the TV… not now nor the future.

My kids used to watch treehouse all the time! (they are older now). They knew what chanel it was on on the satellite even at a very young age. LOL

I don’t let my kids watch too much. Though they view more tv in the summer.

I do let mine watch TV but she’s only allowed to watch certain shows and for abt 1-2 hrs a day. She’s actually learned a lot from TV.

Yup..that’s Ryan’s fav channel and the only channel is on during the day! TREEHOUSE.. Ryan picked up his English from Treehouse..He watched a lot and I don’t mind because is educational. Before he dislike reading books at all..just play and running around..now he request to read..and I read together with him. He is not addicted and he knows when to stop watching…and go to his toys and books ..sometimes do some biking in our backyard.
Soon, he will not get to chance to watch tv that much anymore, coz he is going to day care soon..hehehehe
