Yesterday.. we went to the park to watch the ducks in the duck pond and we had a great time.. But Chloe being a Chloe.. is a wuss.. most times.. hahhahahaha!! didn’t really wanna go to near the edge of the pond… which to most parents.. would be a good thing eh..?? But not to PB & I .. we want her to be brave.. and to face everything .. heads-on.

Anyways.. Chloe didn’t want me to near the pond too.. so when i would go too near the pond.. she would pull me back. Now heres when i turn into a monster .. yup..!! mummy monster..!! i told chloe.. that if she doesn’t sleep at nite.. that’s when .. i would jump into the duck pond.. !!! hahhahahaha!!! in which she replied.. “NOooooooo!!” and you all know.. how often.. she doesn’t wanna sleep right..??

Well.. of course.. we got to test it out the same nite.. coz’ as usual.. the brat didn’t wanna sleep…!! so there we go.. monster mummy .. threatening the brat.. !! Of course she started crying.. and said.. “Noooo..!! mummy..!!” and when she calmed down.. she said.. to me.. “Donch say that .. mummy..!! donch jump into the ducky river..!”

Ya.. i’m bad.. and then she went to sleep.

Guess who came to visit .. first thing .. when we opened our store..?? It was Aunt Verna..!! from Sydney..!! Aunt Verna is pretty elderly.. and each time she comes to town.. she would come visiting the brat.

So nice..!! i love PB’s relatives.. most of them are so nice.. to us.. and of course to ou lil’ brat lah.. Aunt Verna still stay for real long.. and the brat .. was playing shy.. so we didn’t even get much of a visit at all. Usually when Aunt Verna is here.. Aunt Helena would be in town.. but this trip.. Aunt Helena .. went to Toronto to visit .. her children.. since last Monday.. so poor Aunt Verna.. gotta depend on her son Roy to drive her around. I wished we could go up and visit her sometime.. maybe one day soon.. One can always be hopeful.. And last nite PB had said.. we should go up to the city again soon..

I did managed to take some pictures of the food.. but didn’t get to try alot.. because Chloe was fussing way too much.. and even with PB around.. he wasn’t gonna get “FREE” food for me.. maybe because he was shy. Afterall .. food tasting. .means take any food mah.. right..?? no need for me to tell him. .what to get .. just to go with the flow. .and get whatever to taste lor..! like that also donch know.. so i gave up lor.. just take pictures.. for everyone to see.. and then only ate Su Lee’s spring rolls. So “sian” hor..?? I told you what.. PB only eat to live.. and have no enthusiasm at all to try any new food.

Remember I told you.. that i was invited to do community service for Seafest..?? Yup.. Seafest started this week.. and yes.. they did have the international food tasting.. but they didn’t have it outdoors.. because of the weather. This is Su Lee .. the Vietnamese Lady .. who owns a bookstore.. and loves my Chloe. She did participate in the event of course.. like a sport. Fortunately, I didn’t cook.. because the turn out was far too many. You will see a series of pictures for the Food Tasting .. i’m gonna do it in several post.
