I donch know if the Asian gets this immediately .. but we’ve been getting Diana’s concert all over the tv station .. the whole day..!!

I hear it was the princes who planned the concert to honor the memory of their mother. Touching..! And i heard the concert was a blast. I didn’t really see everything.. i was at my MIL’s house.. and caught glimpses of the concert.

For those of you .. who really liked Diana.. like i did.. i was at work.. when i heard about her car accident.. and i thought someone was playing a very bad joke on me.. ! and when i saw the news broadcasting. .on CNN news.. that was when it hit me hard.. that she was really gone. Till today.. i still cannot believe that she is gone.. just like that.. and donch know the real reason to her death. It is such a sad, sad thing.. because with her death.. comes memories of her very, elaborate wedding.. which i can still vividly remembered .. how many of us.. wanted to be in her shoes..?? But then of course we saw some really trying times she had to go thru’ .. and then we realized.. she ain’t having it easy either.

We didn’t go Grammie’s house last week.. because PB and Chloe started to come down with a cold. So we all stayed home.. just in case .. so we donch pass anything to Grammie and Grampie.. because this is the time.. whereby they are the most busiest.

From yesterday.. the brat had been going non-stop.. about going to Grammie’s house.. and bring her soup to eat at Grammie’s. Today.. she kept saying.. she wanted to go Grammie’s house.. and didn’t wanna go to the store.. she would rather go Grammie’s house.

She was very excited.. and knew exactly which road to turn after the highway.. to reach her Grammie’s house. And as per usual.. she had a ball.

My ex-boss from Spain is very much into those arty-farty stuff. He collects fine-arts and was introduced to it when he was on a cruise ship art auction, after that art auction there was no turning back for him. But one cannot keep going on a cruise just to be passionate about your art collection right..?? So he found out that Park West Gallery are the people affiliated to Park West at Sea. Canada celebrated its 140 yrs today. Boy.. it’s such a boring day..!!! very unlike what i am used to in Singapore. But given that Canada is so huge.. i guess small towns like ours.. get forgotten in the celebration eh..?? not so important i guess…??

There is some kinda celebration but not a huge scale one.. and it’s always the same old thing. Starting from pancake breakfast.. and then talk from the mayor.. ya-da-ya-da-ya-da..! and i think by noon.. it ends.

Definitely no march pass.. no fireworks.. no stadium to go to.. no community dances.. no spectacular formation. No special television program.. ! Yup.. quite sad..! one more reason why i miss home.

I’m currently watching .. Tokyo Juliet .. and i tell ya.. i’ve never rolled my eyes so much .. in any tv series.. but this one. Sometimes.. i fear that my eyeballs might turn backwards.. from rolling it so much.

This TV series is ok.. if i weren’t 42 yrs old. But at 42 .. and you see something .. that you know.. that even you wouldn’t do at that age.. just sets me thinking.. what the writers were thinking about ..???

In the tv series.. both the lead actor and actresses.. seems to have boy girl relationship… one after another..!! it’s either the lead actor’s turn.. followed by the lead actress’s turn.. and then it goes on and on .. and on..!!! Oh my GOD..!!! Kill me..!! i wanted to scream..!!!

If i had another chinese show to watch.. it would sure be parked .. to be watched only.. when i donch have anything else to watch.. that’s how much rolling of the eye.. i was doing..!

Well.. after just finishing my cheapie burger .. guess who called..?? Yes.. dear Mr Choo..!! But i didn’t wanna entertain him.. or wanna fight with him.. so we didn’t pick up the phone at all.

Next day.. dear Mr Choo called again.. but we didn’t pick up the phone again.. and on Saturday.. we told Keegan to tell him that we weren’t in. Monday came and went and guess who turned up at our store.. on Tuesday..?? Yes.. dear Mr Choo. He apolgized.. and of course.. i didn’t tell him i was upset.. and told him.. it’s alright.. and wanted to just let it go. But he went on and on.. and it’s funny.. coz’ i guess he must be really sorry.. coz’ why would he come and apologized right..???

So in a way.. it made us fell better lor..!! at least he was sincere enough .. to come apologize.. and not like some ppl or some business. So i’m inclined to think that Mr Choo is gonna succeed in this town.

Someone please tell me.. anyone in the right frame of mind.. would wanna work only 6hrs a week..??? Yes… someone came in looking for a job.. and asking only for 6hrs a week.. so it doesn’t interfere with her welfare cheques. Yup.. i call it welfare cheque.. because the person is perfectly healthy.. and is not missing any limbs.. or isn’t hideous to look at .. but this person .. apparently is on welfare and just wants to work 6hrs a week.. so that she can make it looks like she is willing to work.. but not anymore, so it doesn’t interfere with her social life.. of boozing and partying i guess…???

Yup.. she said.. she can work anytime and anyday.. except Fridays to Monday..! A young woman.. and behaving this way..?? what a lazy person.. in my opinion.. and you know what..?? once welfare cheques are over.. she is definitely gonna go make up stories.. to keep on those welfare cheques. Ppl here abused the system so bad. So “garang” to come look for a job for just 6 hrs..! Stylo-malo ya..???

Ppl like that .. is totally useless.. as far as i can see. Why would someone who has got hands and legs.. depend on hands out..??? only beggars does it.. !! only those who really need it should get it.. !! not someone who is trying to abuse the system.. and thinks the whole world wronged her. Sad.. but i tell ya.. you mark my word.. when she falls.. she is gonna fall so hard.. she is never getting up. Because ppl like that.. are wussy pussy..!

A few years ago, while on business in the Big Apple, my co-worker and I had planned to watch the Les Miserables but being the procrastinator that i am.. as per usual.. i waited till the very last minute before i tried to get some tickets. I went online to try and book 2 seats for me and my co-worker .. but as expected all the good ones were sold out.

My co-worker was of course really upset because it would be many years before she would even be able to visit the Big Apple again. She was visibly upset as well as disappointed. I checked with the hotel concierge to see if he could helped.. and bless his kind heart, he recommended new york ticket broker to us, they specializes in finding tickets for theatre and comedy shows in New York. They were a real life-saver! and came through for us desperate girls… and might i add, saved our friendship too.

There were no hidden fees, no surcharge, no handling or processing fees. Prices were a little higher but that’s to be expected and is reflected on the difficulty in obtaining premium seats. I hear they also do sport and concert tickets too. Well.. i know what to do . .when i want to get inside a client’s good book or those of my big bosses.
