Mochi Anyone..??

Green tea mochi bought from my trip to Halifax last week. It was bad at all.. had some sweet paste inside… but not too sweet. My only complain..?? too expensive..! 6 bucks.. for these..! and i finished all of it in 3 days..!

  2. ooh yummy! my fav mochi has to be the japanese one I got from my supermarket and store them in the refrigerator for a great cooling taste. it is fantastic! maybe i shall blog about it and see if you can find those near your areas.

  3. what paste was in there? my favs are the japanese mochi with black sesame paste and chinese mua chee coated with a mix of ground peanuts and sugar. yum!

  6. I like the mochi with ice cream inside, very good. They have green tea flavor or strawberry flavor, yummm. Eh I hope your x-rays turn out okay, please do keep me updated, sending good energies your way so everything will turn out well and we can celebrate, I will bring food from kopitiam if you have party ok?

  9. My fav is the Jap mochi with black sesame or lotus paste fillings. The chinese version is called the ‘tong yuen’, eaten during the Solstice Festival. I luv them but try hard not to eat too much of em coz they r fattening, filled with empty calories!

  12. I have a thing for ice-cream mochi!!! Can clean up a dozen by myself in a day and then skip all meals.
