On our way up to Halifax on Sunday, we stopped at Annapolis for lunch at good ole Charlie’s. Charlie’s is owned by a Hong Kong woman.. and this was the first chinese restaurant that i really liked in Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, it is about 1.5hrs away from where i lived.. so you can imagine my reluctance to go there and eat ..

My MIL is having a chicken and rice combo for $8.95. The chicken was lots.. and the fried rice was good.. according to her.

I used to tell PB that we chinese love to play tai-chi.. but apparently .. the ang mohs too love to play tai-chis.

A customer .. rented a new movie from us the minute it came out, was 12 days late.. and we only got it back after chasing after her for many days. She gave one excuse after another. And finally, she came in with the movie .. and claimed that she wasn’t the one who rented it (but her kids watched it) and that it was her ex .. who WAS with her at the time of the rental who rented it under her name without her permission.

Overall .. our Halifax trip was good. Too short.. and spent too much money.. and didn’t seems to have bought enough.. even though we spend so much..!

Medical already cost as much as half of what we spent…! The only thing that really got us tired .. was Chloe waiting up at Uncle Budd’s house at 4am.. and screaming and crying.. and wanting to go home.. immediately. But even in the midst of all her commotion.. she still remembered.. that she wants to bring grammie home.. muahhahahha!

PB tried calming her down with milk.. and in the end.. Chloe and I slept in the tv room in the basement..!! boy !! was it chilly..!! And of course.. the brat woke me up every 20mins.. and didn’t sleep till almost 8am.. and PB had to wake me up at 8.30am.. asking me to go up the bedroom to sleep. Yes. .PB went back to bed to sleep at about 4.40am.. coz’ he needed to drive… and he was driving alone. Poor us..!
