I Salute All SAHMs
To all SAHMs.. i salute you ..!! Anyone out there.. who dare say.. SAHMs .. have the easiest job.. i will bitch slap you ..!!
Time and again.. i forget .. what it is like to just stay home with my brat the whole day.. without any help. Today i chose to stay home.. because the brat didn’t sleep good the nite before.. and i didn’t want her to crank up in the store… so i opted to stay home.. and also instill in her the consequences of not sleeping the whole nite.
I have had everything planned out.. what i wanna clean.. and what i wanted to cook for the brat. But in the end.. i only managed to shower.. with the brat in the bathroom with me the whole time.. and i managed to cooked just one meal for her… in the evening. The rest of the time.. was spent picking after her.. and attending to all her whim and fancies.. from wanting juice..to chocolate.. to candies..! NON-STOP..!! She had lunch for a good 2hrs.. and didn’t even finished all her food. I ony had my lunch at about 5pm.. because i need to cook my lunch. On top of it.. she wanted to read, play.. with her playdoh.. and draw.. and bounce around the couch.. ride her bike.. play the keyboard.. and insisted on going outdoors.. when it was cold. She didn’t let me do the dishes.. without offering to help. .and i had to let her.. so i can get some work done. And while i was showering.. she pooped..! so needed change immediately.
At 9pm .. when she finished up her dinner.. i was pretty much pooped..! i still had dishes and bottles to do.. and another meal to cook for her lunch tomorrow.
So I salute you .. all SAHMs..!! you are the GREATEST..!!! I donch know how you do it.. but i would be going crazy.. if i had to be stucked at home.. on a daily basis..!
LOL…like the way you said ‘bitch slap you’. It’s not easy especially when you want to blog or grab that PPP opportunity but the toddler is clinging to you and becomes whiny

the 1st week or the 1st day is always the toughfess…u will get the hang of it after a week or two

That’s why .. i say SAHMs are the bestest..!! and of course you ..!! you lagi lah.. stylo-malo.. look after 3 kids.. and some more work..!! and look after your hubby’s business..!! now.. if there was an award.. for most efficient mother and wife.. it has to be you ..!! Oh.. btw.. where does it say.. that i was the last postie..? i so blur one..

Yeah, SAHM is one of the toughest job in the entire universe! And I can’t just change job as and when I want! *sigh*

YA! i totally agree with u! Well, like u said in ur entry…is like daily basis…at times it is very overwhelming..u r like torn apart as in wanna do house chores and attend to ur little one…can never do both..unless the little one is napping!

congrats on your BOTD! SAHM jobs are not easy of course, but i think it’s because u stayed at home a day, and this is unusual for Chloe. of course she gets all excited and pounce on you
am sure if u are full time, you’ll get the hang of it, not that i am saying we don’t get pounced on everyday!

Kinda.. ! but it would drive me crazy..!! if i had to do it .. every day.. ! not that i donch love my daughter.. mind you ..!! but wow..!! whole day with her only.. and no other communication.. or doing other stuff.. can make one have panic attacks..! that’s why i salute the SAHMs.. because.. it is such a huge getting used too.. !

no la, not first time, i remember frequenting your blog > two years ago before, then sort of lost contact. My apologies for the insensitive comment, I got a nagging worry after posting it. But life is about living right, and you’re doing that. Chloe is so adorable and so big already!
