A Word of Advise

Filed under: Uncategorized, Business/Career, Amusing/Musing, This Town - Mama BoK @ 1:36 am

A word of advise.

Just because you see the owner of the store in the store.. doesn’t make him your best buddy .. nor does he actually knows you .. or can be considered “a long time” friend.

Everytime we have a new employee, we have to remember to tell them.. that there will be ppl who would come into the store.. and claimed that they are “best friends” with PB .. or that they know him really well.

Even till today, this afternoon to be exact, there was someone who told Keegan that he knows PB really well.. in which PB had replied.. to Keegan.. that he hardly know this fella..!

So a word of advise for everyone out there.. even if you go to a deli .. and buy a sandwich everyday with coffee to go along with, doesn’t make you friends of the deli owner. Yes.. he would consider you a good customer.. but nope.. that doesn’t make you a friend.

The classification for a friend in the english dictionary is :
1. a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
2. a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter: friends of the Boston Symphony.
3. a person who is on good terms with another; a person who is not hostile: Who goes there? Friend or foe?

My own classification of a friend is very simple .. a friend is someone who you can trust.

Yes.. a word of advise .. brought to you . .courtesy of the Crazy Chinese Woman Living in Canada.
