HEY! Remember me?
I’m Lakeview Larry, the Gator Byte mascot, and I used to be known for ‘tearing huge chunks off their prices’. Those were the good ol’ days, but most people have forgotten about me now. No one even calls to ask for poor old Larry anymore. Well, I guess I’m gonna have to change that myself!
And for my first act I’m gonna take care of one of the most irritating people we know. The TAXMAN! That’s right, I’m hungry and it’s time for a snack. So from Thursday May 17th til Monday May 21st (2007), Gator Byte Computers will be having a NO TAX sale while those pesky politicians try to find a replacement for this tasty little morsel. (No tax sale applies to used movies, used & new games and game systems, music CDs, etc… does not apply to video rentals or computers & parts) Posting courtesy of Gator Byte Computers & Entertainment Blog by PB. PPS: If anyone of you have taken the time to read about our store history.. you would be familiar with our mascot.. Lakeview Larry. When PB started the store.. because of the advertisement.. ppl were calling to speak to Larry. In which we would reply.. “you mean you wanna speak with Chris right..?? Larry is our mascot .. !” We have had many good laughs with Lakeview Larry.
Could I speak to Larry pls? hehehe too funny lah ppl asking to speak to a mascot haha!! I’ve linked PB’s blog to my new blog and also blogspot. If MB open mouth, sure must give face one
