This was the beef horfun.. that i first had.. at the new chinese restaurant. It was not in the menu… but i wanted to see if the new owner .. would be too “sombong” to go the extra mile. But he wasn’t… and the beef hor fun was excellent, a wee bit saltish.. but Vien from Raising Belle had said.. that it was more “ang moh” taste. “Ang mohs” love to pour half a bottle of soya sauce into their food.

A customer was in .. to enquire about formatting his notebook/laptop. Oh .. by the way.. he was supposedly to go to our “friendly” neighbour’s computer store… but came to us instead.. because he thought we were them (we did tell him we are not ok.. we honest one ok.. not like what “one” ex-goblin accused us of .. being the biggest “ripoff” in town).

Anyhow.. the customer is not from Canada… but he is here for work.. he teaches. We were yakking .. and this customer said.. that after paying the taxes.. and necessities.. there isn’t much left.. for him and his family.

In which both of us agree.. and came to this conclusion that Canada.. is good for those who doesn’t wanna work.. coz’ ppl like us.. we work our butts off.. and whatever money we have.. is used to pay taxes..! Taxes are so high here.. no wonder.. more ppl can go on welfare..! And more teenage kids.. wants more babies.. just because they can collect family allowance.. and welfare pays for their housing and everything else.

These ppl lead a more better life than alot of us (those that work).

Yup.. this was our weather for Thursday. Although not too cold.. but still foggy. While the rest of Asia.. and the United States is experiencing summer weather.. here i am .. still wearing a thick sweater.. and the brat is layered everyday.. at least 3 .. if in the store.. and 4 .. when she is outside.

Sad or not..?? I really wished for the warm weather to come really soon. Enough is enough.. donch you think..??
