No Tax Sale

Big day for us today.. ! coz’ this is our first no tax sale in almost 8 yrs of business..!!

Yes… ppl started streaming in before we were even opened at noon..!! Wow..!!

Expecting a busy day.. and so far.. it has been busy..!!

The weather out there.. foggy..! Bummer..!! but i guess it’s best.. coz’ if it was sunny.. everyone would be camping.. or doing something else. So if this weather stays.. it would suit us fine today.. ;)

  2. Does it happen often? Once in 8 years or a new ruling? Is it an annual thing now? How’s the sale?

    Hey.. Primrose/Princess,

Nah.. it doesn’t happen often.. because we have to absorb the 15% in taxes.. and that’s already our profit.. ! We do it just to generate awareness.. of our store’s existence.. and to bring in the customers..!

  9. 15%?!?! Wow, the tax sure is hefty!

Very.. DR…!! and not only sales taxes are high.. personal taxes are also high.. occupancy for business tax.. also very high.. and so is.. property taxes.. !! they raised the property taxes by 20% i heard this year..!! What a bummer.. right..??!!?? But come to think of it.. if the “garmen” donch do that.. how can they feed those welfare ppl..?? or give out family allowances..??
