Watched this movie tonite.. at home.. after reading so much about it.. from Asian bloggers. It wasn’t bad.. just the ending kinda suxs.. like they didn’t show how he got wealthy and all. I would have preferred a longer ending. But having said that.. the show is already long enough.. 2 hrs. So ya.. worth watching.. just because it’s Will Smith & son.

  1. Haha! I was going to blog about this too coz I just watched it yesterday night. Papa Bkworm feels the same way you do - he wanted to know how Chris Gardner got wealthy! I think a lesser man would have given up long ago but his perseverance paid off in the end.

    Hey.. Bkworm,

Hehehe!! Papa Bkworm and great minds think alike.. kekekek!! That’s true about Chris Gardner.. perserverance.. but it seems strange.. that he has got no family or friends to go for help.. especially when he and his son had to sleep in the public toilet.

  4. Haha…it’s either too ulu or too high-tech! Maybe they assumed everyone can go on the net to read online news mah…muahahahha! Sometimes, I feel S’pore more advanced than US/Canada…sigh…

    Hey.. TF,

I think in many ways.. Singapore is more advanced.. and more orderly. Sure we say.. we donch really have democracy.. and such.. but still it is one of the best run country.. i’ve seen so far. Being in Canada.. for this long.. i’ve seen alot of ugly things here.. and how the ppl just exploits the system.. but having said that.. Canada is a very big country… and i can understand.. why it isn’t run like singapore. If it is not because of the love of my life.. i wouldn’t even think of moving away from Singapore. The price we pay for love eh..??
