So Simple Yet So Precious
One who is in Asia.. wouldn’t think nothing of having a packet of Maggic instant noodles. In fact.. i was brought up to think that Maggie instant noodles are bad for the health. Never would i imagine.. that having a bowl of instant maggie noodles is such a joy.. and so precious to me. Precious because i can’t get it here in this “ulu” town. And secondly .. to “tompang” someone to get it for me.. cost at least 1.25 cents a packet in an asian grocery store up in Halifax.
Yup.. i was fortunate to get some Maggie curry noodles.. when Gerald went up to the city. I had him bring back 5 packets.. and i’m down to my last one today. I had the curry noodles.. with fishcake.. and chinese mushrooms. Yummy and satisfying.
i only allow my children to have instant noodles once a week…as they say it’s not very good for the health, too salty and plenty of chemicals. But i can understand your cravings, i crave for instant noodles too =)

I always lived off those Ramen noodles when I was single. Developed the taste when I was in Korea. Thanks to the missus I eat better noodles too.

That time when I was in Europe, I was throwing up so much (preggy) and to have Maggie mee, it’s like a having sharks fins coz that was the only thing I did not threw out!

mamabok, thanks for your offer but hor… u better keep it for yourself! I can always travel to boston to get some, though not mjoyo. Sometimes I do get some from my in-laws when they visit.
