The whole downtown was slow and quiet today.. we were also the same way. Why ..?? One of the big boys opened its door today… and the whole town .. is down at the store.. i heard.

Some even camped outside the new store last nite.. to be the first customer into store (Malmart)..! Now that was a little too much for me to stomach… and with the wind we had last nite.. it was just crazy..! but this town ppl are kinda crazy..!! I swear it’s the water..!! hhaha!!

One of the downtown, major clothing store is closing it’s door after being an anchor tenant on our street for many, many years.
We were at the mall the other day.. and another .. clothing store.. who moved from our street to downtown where everything is right now.. owed rent of $10K and had a distress notice on its door. Things do not look good for the mom and pop stores .. like ours. We are just grateful they didn’t open its door during Christmas season.. or else we would have been badly affected.

Oh well.. one can only hope for the best .. and prepare for the worst.. eh..??
