Papa Bok finally moved the last load of things out from the old store today. That made me really happy. Sarah helped alot.. according to Papa BoK .. and of course.. we can’t finish without the help of our dear friend .. JR… who is God sent..!!!
I am forever indebted to JR .. and grateful.. for he was the only friend who came thru’ for us.. and of course Sarah.. our only employee.. who did ALOT..!! more than some we know.
So now we can concentrate on the new location.. and make loads of money.. !! YAY..!!
Papa BoK is great..!!!
PS: Of course it helped that our babysitter was able to come from noon to 7pm to babysit the brat ..

Just finished watching Season 4 tonite ..and onto Season 5. I just love this show..!! Must see..!!

At about 5.30pm we got a call from the babysitter telling us that our brat got very sick. So of course i panic lah..!! and rushed home… and then because tonite was the christmas parade.. the streets were packed.
When we got home.. we found out that the brat puked when having her dinner. I guess she must have choked.. and the babysitter being young and all.. just cannot stomach the puke.. and didn’t wanna clean up after the brat. So she called us.
The computer room was in a mess..and the brat’s clothes were on the floor…. the babysitter left her in her undershirt.. in the kitchen.. while she tried not to puke. But she didn’t even get dirty.. like not abit. So i realised .. that she didn’t even try to comfort the brat.. when she puke… but then.. she is only the babysitter.. and what does she know right..?? she is just another kid.
Anyhow.. i am not comfortable..that my babysitter.. didn’t know what to do.. and would get sick.. when my brat puke. What if we can’t come home immediately..?? what if .. we were in the movies..??
So i am gonna have a chat with her.. next week.. when she comes.

My Dear Princess,
You turned 23 months old a few days ago, how time flies. In another month you will be 2 yrs old.
As i look at you this morning at 7.25am.. i still cannot believe that i produce such a beautiful baby. And wonder what did i do right.. ??? to have such a beautiful baby like you…??
You bring so much joy in my life.. my dear. I don’t know what I did before I had you. Mummy love you so much.. and sometimes my love for you is so overwhelming…… that like now.. it brings tears of joy.. just thinking how bless I am …. to have you.. my princess.

The Sopranos is so addictive .. !! i can’t go a day without watching it.
I donch know how we could have waited so long to start watching it… since we had all the season everytime it came out.
I am currently at Season 4 and one more season to go.. and then i will be left high and dry.. !! ARrrrrghhhhhh..!!!!

I haven’t been feeling good for the last two days.. my cramps suxs..big time..!! i only have it this bad.. after having my brat. Before my brat.. everything was a breeze.
So i have been lazing around alot the last two days.. and i’ve been having this constant headache.. for the last 2 days too.. and had to take tylenol for it.
I hope i feel better by tomorrow.. so that i can get some work done.. at home.. some cleaning and christmas decor.. and hunting down the brat’s toque, mittens.. and scarves.

My brat brings me so much joy…! just looking at some of her pictures.. just tickles my heart. I feel I am so blessed .. to be given this wonderful gift from God..! She is the Joy of my Life.

The brat has taken to feeding her cat with her milk bottle, juice bottle.. and any kinda bottle as you can see.. hahahah!!

On top of it… he got me a babysitter for my brat.. and plus work very hard to help me around the house. But i am still anal sometimes.
I think i better evaluate my analrism .. or else.. i am gonna lose one very important man in my life.
Yes.. he does alot ……… and a woman will always be a woman.. nag and nag ..!! i’m turning into my mom..!!! arrrrggghhhhhhhhh..!!!

We have been so busy .. i don’t even have time to take a few pictures of the new store for all to see. But just to let everyone know.. that everything is working out fabulously..!!
We are getting alot busier now.. since it is Christmas.. plus of course we have loyal and great customers like Sheri and Gary, whose support to the store.. has been a tremendous boost to our ego.
I have one good worker.. and am still hoping to find another one that is just as good… or who doesn’t give us any nonsense to begin with.
The new store is cosier.. and more organised. Not only we love it.. our customers too.
I have extremely good feelings about this new place.. Papa BoK intend to work more himself.. so that we don’t lose any customers.. because of an inexperience worker.
We are still the same owners.. same store.. and selling the same things.. but for some reason .. ppl feel that this location is more professional.. hahahah!!!
Oh well.. whatever makes the customers happy i guess..

Xmas decor everywhere in the stores…and the mall.

This is the tent we were talking about.. that we bought for our brat to play in….. it comes in 3 pieces.. and has a long tunnel to it.. but we are only bringing out one piece at a time.. that way.. we can keep her interested for a long time.. plus we have no space.. to put the three pieces of tent, tunnel and smaller tent in the living room.

I bought this yesterday, and they were delicious..!!! Nah.. i didn’t finish it all… hehehe!!! although .. i would like to.. I shared some with Papa BoK..and brought some to work.

My brat has taken into lifting her bum.. when we finished putting on her diapers..and wearing her pants or shorts for her.. on the changing table. We didnt teach her that… but she has been doing it for a few weeks now.. according to Papa BoK.
So Clever eh..??
She also will clean the shelving .. or glass cabinets.. when she is at the store.. hehehe!! and that we also never taught her.. and we donch know why she is doing it. ehhehehehe!!!

She now sleeps without needing a car ride.. and sometimes at nite.. she wants to play mummy.. because our babysitter .. Katelynn.. had to do a project with a toy baby.. that she brought along.. while babysitting my brat…

I stayed awake and not go back to bed this morning..even though i only had 3 hrs of sleep because Papa BoK had .. made this remark .. that he would have woken me up.. 2 days ago.. from my nap earlier.. had he known that i had already slept some during the nite instead of letting me sleep till 1pm, so that he can get more things done.
So .. yesterday.. even though i only had 3 hrs of sleep ….. i stayed awake.. because i was very “teik kee” meaning .. stubborn.. and obstinate in hokkien. So that Papa BoK wouldn’t have to waste his precious time.. and get more done.
Verdict/and the result..??? nope.. same amount of work done.. and same amount of time spent in the store. So what i tell ya.. ??? i’m seldom wrong.. hahahhahahaha!!!
Yaya.. i am very “teik kee”. And i was groggy the whole day.. but still “tahan” and did everything.. !! fed the brat 3 meals ..today.. and bathed her.. all alone.. and put her down for a nap.. and even managed to jump into the shower. So yes..!! i’m a Super-Woman..!!! and a very “teik - kee” one..!!! for the records..!

I only got 3hrs of sleep last nite.. from 6am to 9am.. coz’ the brat was fussy the whole nite.
When she got up at 9am.. she was so fussy.. i felt i should be the one with her.. and try as i might to get her to nap some more.. she wouldn’t..!! B R A T !
Anyhow.. by the time Papa BoK woke up.. it was like 10.30am.. and i had finished feeding her oats .. and all. And since it was oats instead of her normal cereal..she was of course fussy.
I didn’t wanna waste the day away.. and go back to sleep today.. so i waited for Papa BoK to finish breakfast.. and headed out to the bank.. and back to the store.
Then of course we got stucked at the store.. coz’ a customer was in .. to buy computer stuff. And we ended feeding the brat late.
We all ate at the same time.. while i was feeing her… but she didn’t eat much.. coz’ she didn’t like the BBQ pork i had made last nite.. and i donch blame her.. coz’ it was so tough. And since she already puke once today… i didn’t wanna force her.
As soon as she went down for a nap .. i jumped into the shower.. i feel better now.. all cleaned up .. but really sleepy.. and exhausted.
And i hope the brat ain’t coming down with something.

I gave oats this morning… to the brat.. and she didn’t liked it at first.. but she did finally eat some.. after some encouragement.. so that was good..
I haven’t fed her oats for a long time.. because we want the easy way out i guess.. giving her something she is familiar with.
So yes.. we are gonna stop being slack parents.. and try everything.. we can for her.

I’m happy to announce .. that we are feeding big gal food to our brat..!! YaY..!!
But then hor.. she takes an hour to finish a small plate of food… *sigh*..!! is that normal..???? pray tell.. all the good moms out there.. or any nice daddies.. and nice che che and kor kor..

I have been forgetting to take my diabetic medication.. although i swear i try religiously to eat them after every meal. But i’m either in too much of a hurry.. at the store.. or just into doing stuff at home.. that i managed to forget it .. ALOT.
Yes.. i’m pretty bad at it.. unless.. i start swooning or something.

PS: And i better stop cheating.. and taking sips of pepsi that is in the fridge for my MIL. Kekekekeke!!!

I sounded out my MIL about us thinking of going back to Asia…. since the economy .. and the workers we have are anal.. and i really do miss home too and the food of course..!! .
I know my in laws wouldn’t be too, too happy if we go back to Asia. For one thing.. i will be depriving them of their only grandchild .. and also their eldest son. I know my in-laws will miss both of them ALOT..!! and as much as i hate doing it……. we might just really have to go back to Asia for our sanity sake, for i cannot get over the fact.. that the EMPLOYEES are always right.. and protected by so many shitty laws here….. be it the Human Rights or Labour Codes. The employment laws are not FOR the employers.. that i can tell you. And I hate the fact.. that it seems that I’m always doing the fighting for the business. I feel very vulnerable here… ! I feel like my hands and legs are tied here.. with regards to our workers/customers.

I bought some stewing pork on saturday from the supermarket…. and had intended to make Bak Kut Teh with mushrooms but i ended up BBQing it in my oven and had BBQ stewing pork instead..and it tasted really good.. Next time i see cheap stewing pork.. i will buy that instead….
And that lead me another idea.. to get Lee Kum Kee’s Char Siew Sauce….. when someone is up in the city for my chinese food. Yay!! i’m a genious..!!

Babysitter messaged me this morning that she woke up sick. So the brat and I will be doing stuff.. without the babysitter. Heh! What a bummer.. !! i wsa hoping that babysitter can play with the brat with her new tent.
Oh well.. no problem.. grammie will be in tomorrow.. so grammie will be pushed into the tent.

I had a better day today. We went to visit my in-laws.
Not a long visit .. but it was good.. The brat just loves it.. and insisted on going outdoors.. and chasing cats. We got to see Aunt Helena too.. so that was great..
But when we came home.. i was unusually tired.. and had to rush to vacuum the floors.. because the brat plays both in the living room and the computer room ALOT.
Daddy helped to do laundry and folded them.
All in all it was a good day.. I didn’t have to deal with any crack heads… *shrug*

She put on the sunglasses for me… because i told her i was taking a photo of her.. and posting them on the blog. Hahhahaha!! so cute.. and so smart eh..?? but still donch wanna talk properly.

Winter is coming soon .. as you can see .. our brat is wearing an antenna hood.. She even post for me.. knowing that i was gonna take her picture..

Papa BoK brought me and our brat to Mickey Dee for breakfast this morning.. and i had a big breakfast with coffee..and Papa BoK had his usual hotcakes..
He usually eat two pieces.. and i eat the other.. And yes.. i’m a glutton.
Our brat played on her own..almost all the time.. when there was a sweet little gal around.. but as soon as she left..she came over asking for attention again.
I’m also proud that Papa BoK .. didn’t talk very much to his “chu peng goa yu” the one who always takes advantage of Papa BoK’s goodness .. and never ever do anything for us in return.
Papa BoK talked to him very briefly and that was it. But i think the only reason why Papa BoK didn’t say much.. because i was there…coz’ he knows how cheezed off i am with this “old” friend.

First snow on Remembrance Day..!! Started Early this year..!!! Arrrrghhhhhhhhhh..!! and it was cold. .the whole day..!! bummer..!!

It’s Remembrance Day today and last year at this time.. i was very thankful to God.. for everything that was happening in our life.
We bought our new house.. and our ex-employee who was nothing but trouble left without giving notice and then went on to claim unemployment citing that I wrote about her whole life on my blog.
The unemployment office gave her .. her charity cheques of course.. citing reasonable doubts.. and thus playing into her hand because she told the poor lady .. that her hubs and her spilt up (which of course is a lie).
Today as i remember the events that happened last year leading to the ex-worker.. i cannot thank God enough.. that she left.
So lest i forget… God works in mysterious way.. had she not left the business, we would never have fired her.. because we would have tolerated her nonsence.. ! so i thank God.. every Remembrance Day.. for letting her go crazy… and leaving the store .. the way she did.
As far as I am concern, this ex-worker of mine … is nothing but white trash..! And i never say anyone is a white trash before… but this one definitely is.

PS: You probably ask why we hired her right..?? Well.. she literally begged for the job.. and we took pity on her.. and see what we got in return…??? A foul mouth gossiper.. and a good for nothing person.

Brat slept in her crib the whole nite for two nites now.. from midnite till 9am.. and yes.. we did get some much needed rest.
Unfortunately, I had wind in my tummy that sat on my fibroids the whole nite.. thus making me really upset and uncomfy. What a bummer eh..???!!!???

Sometimes.. i am so anxious to eat my ice.. that i set the tray of ice.. right in front of my puter.. and dig them out one by one.. to eat them.. hehehhe!!
It is actually such a funny sight.. to be honest..and Papa BoK.. i just found out .. that he hates that i crunch the ice..!!! OMG..!! I didn’t know that..!!
Soon to save his sanity.. i might have to give up ice altogether.. or chew/crunch on them.. in another room.. hahahaha!!
