Exchange Student

Filed under: Uncategorized - Mama BoK @ 2:01 am

Met a new exchange student from Hong Kong today. And the poor boy is visibly missing home ALOT..!! and i donch blame him at all.
He had mentioned that he misses rice, so i’m gonna cook some for him when i have the time and deliver it to him. I mean that’s the least i can do for a fellow-asian right..??
My heart goes out to these exchange student.. because i think they were led to believe that this is a city instead of a small town. Poor thing..!!

  1. I also missed rice a lot when I was in Paris. It almost made me cry! And when I found Vietnamese opening restaurant claiming to be Chinese Food, I was furious! LOL! Chinese through and through. Cannot live without rice.

  5. I know how I missed rice the moment I went overseas for my studies. Within the first week of knowing the town, I was visiting chinese restaurants almost every day and night!!
