Yes.. that i am..! I slept for 9 hrs .. no disturbance..! had breakfast..lunch and a snack.. ! had a coffee.. ! baby napping.. even got myself a babysitter….. and didn’t do dishes.. nor cook for anyone..! and i got crazy .. because my spouse didn’t bring back “the” kinda chicken that i want..!

Yes.. i declare.. i am officially crazy.. no denial of it..!!

After trying to bring my brat to some babysitter’s house previously .. and it didn’t work.. we decided to get a Che-che(sister) to play with Chloe.

Chloe’s new che-che has a really pretty name, Katelynn. She is about 16yrs old.. and today was a first day with Chloe. Chloe seems to love her aplenty .. and had a really good time with her.

Please.. please pray with me.. that Katelynn will be the right sitter for my brat..

A few weeks ago, I had some lebanese food from a little cafe call .. Little Lebanon. The avocado salad was great.. unfortunately the beef kebabs were tough .. the rest and salad would have gone nicely if the beef were good. This meal came with pita bread too.. which i only ate 2 because of the tough kebabs. I guess if i had eaten there, maybe it wouldn’t be this tough..??

For dessert of course i ordered the Baklava.. and they were divine.

Hey..everyone,

I am going on a short hiatus due to the business. I am continuously bogged down by our worker’s problems, be it sick leave or other silly reasons.

I’ve been very tired.. and easily irritated.. and irrational with my spouse at times.

So i’m taking a short break.. to re-focus on our goals.. and our expectations for the business for the rest of the year.

Please do not worry about me.. i am fine. Just need to get rested.. and re-focus.

Our morning worker called this evening to let us know that she is still sick and will not be able to come to work. Called another worker to see if he can stand in, but he can’t .. he got plans already. One we didn’t wanna call even if she can work.. coz’ she was the one we are worried that might make more mistakes. Luckily, another one can work in the evening, so that’s good.. but not that good.. coz’ this worker love to blast the music and the tv at full blast. And yes.. we’ve spoken to him.. and told him not to.. but everytime.. we come into the store.. the music is at full blast.

He is abit slack . if you know what i mean.. but better than the one who keeps making mistakes.. and his own rules .. i guess.

So slack versus loose money.. i choose slack.

For those who claims that this job is difficult .. and it’s the little things that they cannot remember.. they are just STUPID..! that’s my conclusion.

Working at our store.. is the easiest things… just some common sense and work.. meaning .. spend some time cleaning.. and re-arranging inventory.

Meaning, do not rent anything to anyone without ID .. do not take out late charges for customer when they do not pay it. Do not set up ppl who already ripped us before. Do not set up customer who do not have proper ID.

One of my present worker ask me.. why we needed credit card.. when it is only a movie the customer is renting. He said.. it is ONLY a movie.

Can you believe that..?? Movies cost us money too.. you know.. ! if the customer do not come back with my movie .. i need to know how to reach him.. and charge him.

But nope.. my worker thinks it isn’t necessary.. and decided that it is ok not to get a credit card from the customer.

If working for us is hard… then he/she is not going anywheres.. for sure.

PS : I was kinda upset with the brat today.. because i got like 2hours of sleeping time .. and another 40mins of nap.. when she napped with me in bed. Luckily my spouse was very nice.. and didn’t bother me to cook or do anything. So when evening came, i was quite relax.. and the bonus was Pete came back to work after being ill for a few days. Lets hope Rara feels better from her cold and will be able to work tomorrow. Otherwise . it would be a huge bummer.. because we already have to work the afternoon shift tomorrow (monday)

I realised that all our workers that we’ve hired .. only knows ..in their mind.. “I want, I want” and if things do not go their way.. then it is ok.. for them to say .. they are not coming to work.. even though they have already agreed the day before .. to work the next day.

We won’t be visiting Grammie & Grampee this weekend.. for we have to work because Sam is still sick. So poor Chloe wouldn’t get to see her Grammie & Grampie this week. And mummy wouldn’t get to eat her goodies at Grammie’s.. !! Bummer..!!

A few days ago while in the store, Chloe’s finger was caught in between the drawer.. while she was trying to close it. I was watching her so closely.. when she was playing with the things in the drawer at the store .. and i had only turned away for one second.. and she managed to hurt her 3rd finger..!

She screamed for abit.. and as soon as i pulled her finger out.. she was ok.

What a brave kid i have..?? But still .. i have to really watch her like a hawk..!

I cannot help it, but my head keeps singing this song.

Maybe i will teach my brat to sing this song.. that way.. if my workers act stupid.. i will get my brat to sing this song to them. .eh..???

Jesse Alexander Terrell rented 4 games from us costing us about $400 and we didn’t see it ever again, that was a month ago. A few days ago, a friend of his tried to scam us by calling us and offering to help us buy it back from that bastard, for he was gonna sell the games for $15 a piece.

Imagine the nerve some ppl have here..???!!!???? He stole our games. and wanna sell it back to us.. for more money..????!!!!??? What the FCUK ! is the world becoming to..?????

And we can’t do anything about it.. even if we knew he was selling our stuff.. because the cops won’t get involved.. unless you have prove that he sold the games and that there is someone to testify against that little prick of a son of a bitch.

So .. yes.. more joys of owning your own business.. eh..???

Customer/s here do lie. One bought a parallel wires from one of the worker and came back the next day and claimed that he had wanted a power chord and that our worker gave him the wrong wires, so a refund was being given on that day.

My spouse checked the returned merchandise a few days later .. and found that the wires were being used already for the lying customer’s computer screws were still on the wires when he had said he didn’t even open it.

First, he must think that we are stupid and secondly, he tried to get our worker into trouble.. by blaming her for the mistake.

Some ppl are complete assholes and retarded!

One of our worker was sick yesterday. She called us up at 9am in the morning, when her shift only starts at 5pm to inform us that she was sick and can’t come to work. Although i appreciate the enthusiasm, I do not appreciate that she woke my brat up at 9am when she had only gone to bed at 2.30am the nite before.

Anyhow, we have 3 part-timers and no one was able to fill in shift. What a bummer! So my poor brat had to suffer with us.. and we had to change all our plans for yesterday.

This evening, the same worker called the store again and informed my other worker that she wouldn’t be able to work again tomorrow.. and we made sure.. that she know not to call us at home at 9am by calling her first at her home.

We were hit by a storm tonite.. with lightning and thunder. We had to shut the power off twice tonite. It was boring.. and scary.. with the lightning and thunder coming at us simultaneously.

I held on to my brat really tight during the storm, i think that might be one of the reasons why she was so spooked that she couldn’t sleep.

The storm is over now.. and it’s already 3.44am here.. so i better go rest.. and update tomorrow. Today just flew by so quickly. Bummer..! not much accomplished…!

Not a bad movie! Jamie Foxx is in this movie. I think it is more a boys/men movie.

You are slowly but surely .. getting better with your words.. and expressing yourself.. You even tried calling Tank “Sarah” instead of Tank yesterday… when you saw Tank on the road.
You are also beginning to play “masak-masak” these days.. and love to feed mummy with the food that you do not want or too full to consume.
You are also growing taller .. and you donch fear so much when we have to change your diapers in the store.. you just lay down and be good about it.

At last .. i got some rest..! I slept for a good 8hrs last nite…! woohoo..!! But poor daddy.. came to bed late.. and had to wake up with the brat.. and didn’t get back to sleep.. because she kept waking up every 15mins till about 10.30am.
But i did get some sleep.. and i didn’t take my diabetic medication before i slept.. because i think the medication may be causing some anxiety in me.. during the nite.. so i’m trying to skip the nite time one.. to see if it would stop the anxiety thing that was happening for the last few nites.

A very interesting movie .. i must say.. a definitely must watch..! Rachel McAdams is apparently from London, Ontario. Wow..!! i always mistaken her to be Jennifer Gardner.. and i donch know why.
We finished watching this at 2am in the morning.. for the brat woke up crying and was inconsolable.

Where once upon a time.. i had to get my stockings from Marks & Spencer because i’ve got elephant’s thigh and pay ALOT for it. I now only need to pay a few bucks for 2 pairs of nicely fitting stocking here.
Yes.. clothings and accessories are easy to buy for someone like me.. on the heavier side. Over here i do not have to be embarrassed by the sales girls back home.. who look at me.. like i’m a monster.. and nothing will fit me. I used to shop at either Marks & Spencers or Liz Claiborne and another australian brand .. that i cannot remember now. And most of my clothes are ex.. because i cannot get them in petite sizes in Singapore.
Over here.. i can easily buy any jeans.. and fit into anything. Everyone is huge here. So yes.. one of the perks of living in Canada is.. loads of clothings.. at low-low prices.

TROPICAL STORM WATCH AND HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING IN EFFECT FOR WESTERN NOVA SCOTIA….

Although Ophelia has been downgraded to a tropical storm off the coast of North Carolina, weather officials in Halifax continue to closely monitor its track. Ted McIldoon of the Canadian Hurricane Centre says the storm will gradually pick up speed as it moves in a north-northeast direction through the day. He says if it remains on its projected path Ophelia should brush just south of Yarmouth Saturday evening. The storm is expected to push past the Cape Breton coast Sunday morning bringing heavy rains and strong wind gusts before heading to southeast Newfoundland Sunday night.

My spouse decided that we shouldn’t eat burger today and try something healthier.. so we decided to order chinese.
I haven’t ordered Hot & Sour soup for a long time.. because it was quite disappointing the last few times i had it. So i decided to be brave today .. and give it another chance. I ordered 2 egg rolls for me.. and another 3 for my spouse. for that was what he wanted. Take-out bill came up to $11.85.
Unfortunately, i was once again disappointed by the soup and the service.. for they again over charge me for the food we ordered.
I didn’t take any pictures.. but the soup was miserable.. and watery .. and had no substance..! what a bummer..!!
Luckily i had tom yum noodles.. which is way less expensive.. for dinner and i’m determined never to order at this chinese place again.

I gave 2 to Tank.. for i know that he must miss spicy food too . by now.. since he didn’t go back to Taiwan this summer.
GG was up in Halifax for business and i had asked his son, N if GG would pick some up for me .. and he DID..!! i didn’t expect him to.. but he was just too nice.

My brat started climbing into the car and onto the car-seat on her own .. for a few days now. Today i saw her in action. She is just too cute.. and too funny..! And pretty dramatic too.. coz’ she got caught on something. .and she went “Woe-woe!!”.. hahha!!

Last nite when i went to bed, i didn’t think that i was gonna have problems with a bloating tummy. But i did..!!! and it was SOoooo BAD..!! that i swear .. that i could have farted on the whole of China..!! and i’m not kidding too.
Boy..! it was so uncomfy.. for the wind was sitting on my fibriods..! i had to sleep on one side .. and then turn another side.. every 15mins.. for the wind was running around inside me. So no .. i didn’t get a very good rest.. although.. i had a long sleep.. for my spouse was up with the brat early.
One of the reason why i do not really wanna go for a massage is because ..of the wind that is inside my body.. i know you prolly think i’m silly.. but i tell you .. everytime.. my spouse massage me.. like knock my back.. i fart..! BIG TIME..!!. So i think i’ll be pretty embarrassed if the lady massaging me.. hear or smell my farts.. hahahhha!!! but it is also not good to hold the wind inside you .. because it is very torturous..!
Ok now.. please tell me you all have this kinda experiences..?? and i’m not the weirdo one..???

Watched this tonite, good movie, definitely a chick flick and quite impossible to believe.. ahhaha!! but a show is a show.. right..?? and i should learn how to believe in fairy tales.. and happily ever after.

Gilmore Girls just started today.. and i’m so excited. I just love Gilmore Girls. I had it taped, haven’t watched it yet, coz’ i need to be eating my favourite food to go with my favourite TV show.

For health reasons, my spouse had just ordered this exercise bike for me. Hopefully, I will make good use ot it and get my sugar level down.

Grammie was in today for babysitting, so my spouse brought me to a little restaurant in town call Little Lebanon to see if they have one of my favourite dessert - Baklava. Upon reaching the restaurant, the menu was pasted outside one of the windows. I was excited to see that they do have the dessert. So we went in and order take-out, 2 pieces of Baklava at $1.50 each + taxes.
When i saw the Baklava .. i wasn’t too excited.. hahaha!! wasn’t really what i was expecting i guess. I mean look at the ones that Reid from Ono Kine Grindz had posted on his blog. Anyhow, i waited for my brat to sleep and i tried the Baklava. Guess what..??!!!??? it was heavenly..!! yummy, yummy..!! i can’t believe it tasted so good despite the presentation. Definitely better than the Tiramisu i had a few months ago from another restaurant.
So yes.. i will definitely go back for more.. and would try a meal soon. Yay!!

Blackberries picked by Uncle Richard (BIL) on Sunday, for my MIL to make jelly or jam. I tasted it .. and it was pretty nice. Obachan from Obachan’s Kitchen & Balcony Garden and Lisa from Olso Foodie would have certainly love it.

A older customer was in yesterday late afternoon just to ask me about online relationship. I guess he did know that i met my brat’s daddy online. Hahhahaha!!
Now what ppl do not know is, my online relationship went on for a good 6 yrs before we met up. Ours didn’t just happen like in a lightning flash, nor was it puppy love or jumping into bed kinda relationship.
Anyhow, i gave whatever i know to our customer and cross my fingers for him for not all online relationship will work out. Plus it is a very huge gamble too, since either one needs to fly to a foreign country .. to meet up. But anyone wanting an online relationship needs to know that … even when you do meet and decide to stay together.. it is still an uphill task. For the cultural differences, the being so far away from your family and friends .. and of course.. the food, can create a huge sense of discontentment in some after some time, or when the dazzle begin to fizzle.
So yes… in any relationship .. it will work.. if you work at it.
I have to admit that my spouse is most tolerance to my nonsense, for i can be really strange at times. If not for that tolerance.. i doubt we would be still together.
So for those who wants to go into an online relationship.. be prepared to get a crazy partner like I, be ready for someone who is very opiniated like I, be also willing to shower alot of love to your partner for he or she is so far away from home and loneliness can bring out the strangest emotions in a person .. be it a man or woman.
Bottom line is : Go into the online relationship with your eyes and ears open. And money should never be an issue in your relationship, meaning NEVER send money to your online partner. Well, unless you have been together online for at least 6 yrs.

We just received a letter from the bank informing us that our property tax will go up by $190.00/month..!! What a bummer..!!!
Can you imagine.. paying 3K a year for such a small house..????!!!!?? Especially since everything has been really slow for the whole town this year.
I also hear that the power prices are going up!! and gas prices has been going crazy too of late..!!
I’m guessing that the government just donch want us to do good at all..!!!

Met a new exchange student from Hong Kong today. And the poor boy is visibly missing home ALOT..!! and i donch blame him at all.
He had mentioned that he misses rice, so i’m gonna cook some for him when i have the time and deliver it to him. I mean that’s the least i can do for a fellow-asian right..??
My heart goes out to these exchange student.. because i think they were led to believe that this is a city instead of a small town. Poor thing..!!

On Sunday, the brat was putting diaper into the trashcan when we were giving her a bath! so smart right..!! hehehe!! She also said “shoes” and think that the socks is also call “shoes”.

Remember the garbage bin that my spouse was making on his very own..?? well .. he has just recently finished painting it and it’s ready to go out and be used.

But where is it now..?? still in our basement .. coz’ he’s said too sayang .. to use as garbage bin..!!! Men..!!!! can Pengshan or not..??? you tell me..??? *smack my forehead*

Well it was his little handy work.. so i’m not gonna say anything.. but a very expensive one.. if you ask me.. just to be sitting in the basement and not serving its purpose.

This is what i like for my meals, a vegetarian udon, with Nori, babycorn and tofu. Dennis & Phan from Asian Vegan would be real proud of me. I can eat this on a everyday basis.

She managed to say “Grampie & Mama”. I’m sure she doesn’t really know what it meant as of yet.. but she is saying it.. so we are tremendously proud of her..!!!

I’ve just finished watching Season 5 and the last season and i must say .. i am gonna miss this show very much. As dysfunctional as they may protray in this show.. it was heartwrenching in the end.
