Yes.. this is a 1957 Ford.. and still working..!! it does alot for my Budd, my FIL. My FIL said.. it’s only middle age for a tractor. It plough , disc, till, make rows , cultivate , haul wood, mow hay and rake it etc.

My FIL has 3 of these… a 1951 , a 1957 and a1992.

I was joking with my FIL .. that the tractor does so much .. that it’s almost like a second wife to him.

As usual.. when we visit our in-laws .. there are loads to see.. and take pictures of. These are home-made jams for sale at the vegie stand in front of my in-laws house.
Obachan, you can make rhubarb jams like my mother-in-law .. with your rhubarbs.

Every year at this time of the year.. my in-laws hard work are always stolen…!!! Yes i meant STOLEN..!! someone just stole a bottle of jam from my in-laws..!!! they paid for the peas.. but didn’t pay for the jam!!! How el-cheapo.. can these ppl be..???!!!?? I’m outrage.. to be honest.. and i cussed at the petty & el-cheapo thief. I hope he/she gets the worst diarrhea of all times. And that his or her poopy hole would be so sore.. that he/she can’t sit for at least a week.

Yes.. yes.. i’m a meanie.. !! but i’m also a woman..!! and you know how woman can get .. when they are outrage..with such petty theft!! Go rob a bank.. I’ll salut you … ! but rob a vegie stand..!! ASSHOLES..!! SHIT-FACE..!! GOOD-FOR-NOTHING..!! JERKHEAD..!!! DICK-HEAD..!!

Can’t wait to taste these ja-gong again.. ! Last year.. my FIL picked them fresh from the garden.. and we had it immediately. They were the best ja-going i ever had.

Chloe knows exactly .. what the piggy bank is for, as soon as I whipped it out.. she pulled me to our bedroom .. where my jeans are .. and asked for a coin.

The piggy bank was a present from GrandAunt Rainy & GrandUncle Jerry… for her birthday last year.. and we put in some money every now and then.. just to teach her the concept of saving.

Last nite while coming home from my in-laws house.. i wanted some coffee, so we dropped by at Tim Hortons.

I asked myself this question almost every week.. and how i can make my life more significant. How can I make an impact in other people’s life..??

I do not wanna be famous .. like Sarong Party Girl or Xia Xue or even Kenny Sia, do not get me wrong.. i did not say that there was anything wrong being them. In fact I applaud them for being so ballsy. I even told another blogger, Kimberlycun that i wished that when i was younger.. i was more eloquent like she is .. in her writing.. for to me.. this girl also got lots of guts. But no .. i can do without that kinda fame.

I also do not wanna be like 5x Mom .. the very “Tok - Kong” type of SAHM who has impact other people around her .. by her many contribution to society.. and her straightforwardness towards many issues surrounding her. For i cannot take the criticism .. i get overly emotional . . and i cannot sleep. In other words, I am pretty lame and a coward, therefore i have protected password articles as you can see.

I am a very simple woman, one who wants to create a memorable future .. a future where my daughter and my grandchildren can be in awe.. and can be proud of me.. as being unselfish human being. I wanna be remembered as having a great sense of humor.. but lately .. i have little humor to share.. because of the ppl i meet by being an owner by association. And of course .. it hit me the hardest when my chicken-shit neighbour did a “tang kee” dance in my house a month ago over nothing. Yes.. i’m still very sore about it.. but moreso i was a lot spooked by what happened.

I strive to remain positive by feeding myself with alot of positive information constantly… and once again i am back to square one as to how to make my life a memorable one and not an average one…??

Chloe is into the corner table in our living room these days. She would carry it everywhere she goes.. and sit under it.. or have it sitting in front of her.. or crawling under it.. but most of all.. just carrying it around alot.. and making us all very nervous.. for the corner table is quite heavy.

I’ve resorted to hiding it for now.. in our bedroom.. because i don’t want her to get hurt. And prolly bring out the toy that grammie bought for her.. when she was a baby .. so she can lug that around.. and it’s plastic.. so it’s not so bad.. and won’t hurt so bad..if she pokes herself.. somewhere.. or someone.

This afternoon.. i’m gonna go shopping with her.. to try find her a tent or tunnel.. to play with… weather permitting .. that is..

I think i am that kinda person who like to be friends with ppl from a distance. Maybe i am crazy.. but being too close irks me.. !! it makes me wonder…. when my friend/s will start acting crazy on me .. like some that i’ve experienced here.

When i was in singapore.. i used to be too busy… and all my buddies.. were either from work.. or from my college years.. and most of them were too busy too. But we do keep in touch.. when we fly out to wherever they were .. or when they are in town.. for work. I also send out various holiday cards religiously .. and birthday cards too.

We catch up.. whenever we are in close proximity of each other.. by having luncheons.. and dinners. Our relationship has always been healthy.. and close.. and informative… exchanging contacts.. talking about family and work.. and the good ole days.. or ex-colleagues…. you know stuff.

So yes.. i think i do well.. with any relationship .. from a distance. I donch want my friends to be dropping in everyday.. and needing to share every spare minute they have with me.. just small dosage of some every other week would be fine..

Chloe’s new favourite anime right now is Finding Nemo..! We try to let her watch a variety of shows.. but for now.. she is contented with Finding Nemo.. and i’m happy to have a little bit of free time.

RCMP in Yarmouth are looking for at least two suspects after a brutal beating in the downtown early this afternoon. A hotdog vendor was beaten by at least two individuals. One used a steel pipe, the other a piece of wood with a nail protruding from it. The victim was rushed to Yarmouth hospital with undetermined head injuries. He may be airlifted to Halifax. One witness, who spoke to CJLS News on condition on anonymity, says one of the suspects approached the victim and asked for a free hotdog…when the vendor refused, the two suspects returned and beat the man

The town that i am living in.. and call my home now.. is a really small town. So you can imagine.. how appalled i was .. when i read this ..! I now worry constantly .. for my spouse..my daughter.. my extended family here… and my friends.. and workers.

A good movie but sad ending. Must watch..!!

Chloe has turned into a biting lil’ monster.. toddler!!! Her teeth must be bothering her.. she has been biting me real hard lately… so much so.. that daddy gotta literally pull her off of me. Poor mummy.. daddy kept saying.. hahhaha!!

The version i saw was a japanese version. You have to watch for the one with the japanese cast not the english one. Very good movie.. very moving.. and very touching.. and scary too. Die, die must watch.

I wouldn’t say that it is a bad movie .. but a wee bit corny.. but a “can” watch for sure. Probably good for inspiring young girls.

Belinda .. one of my spouse’s house-mate .. from a long time ago.. is getting married this Friday. Nope we didn’t get an invite.. but that’s ok. We see Belinda like twice a year.. maybe.
And the last time.. i heard about her.. was from my parents-in-law.. where she said.. .that it might be because i talk alot.. that was the reason why .. we couldn’t keep any of our employees..!! hahahhahahahaha!!! she is way too funny..!! for someone who haven’t worked for like ages.. hahahhaha!!! way too funny.
We heard about her wedding from Paul today.

Paul an old friend of my spouse.. who used to lived in the same apartment as my spouse .. many moons ago.. came by the store.. this afternoon.. with his son. He is now living in Calgary.. and is down in Yarmouth visiting.
We haven’t seen him for 3 yrs to-date.. and he doesn’t know that we have a baby now. But it was a pleasant surprise.. and Paul does look alot, alot better this time. Perhaps it’s because he has custody of his son now.. the last time i saw him in town.. i know.. he missed his son alot. So i am very happy.. that he is doing well.. and that he has got custody of his son, Josh. Josh also seems to be a very nice boy.. he is about 7yrs old.
I had asked Paul.. if he was seeing anyone.. and apparently .. he is still carrying a torch for someone here in Yarmouth. My spouse was joking.. that this gal .. is his dream g/f .. from way back.
Wow..!! i couldn’t believe it either.. when he told me who she is. And i really hope things work out for him..to be honest. His dream girl is very pretty.. but not all there. .if you know what i mean. But that’s only my opinion.. and it’s not important.. as long as Paul is happy.. and his dream gal is.. i’m happy too for him.

We are invited for a BBQ Potluck Party by JB for this Saturday at 1pm. He is actually the best man for Tubby …. one of my spouse’s oldest friend… who is getting married this September. Some may have even seen the pictures of the proposal during Christmas last year.
I wonder what i should cook for the potluck. This is our first BBQ this summer.. but i’m sure.. we will have many more with relatives.. and friends.

We had actually wanted to buy pepperoni for our pizza and see what we ended up with..?? Another 50 over dollars worth of groceries. My oh my..!!! I think we might have bought more if we were so hungry.. and rushing home to bake our Pizza.

Chloe rarely wear skirts due to the weather here, either it is too cold or there are bugs around. So here she is .. in a skirt.. She didn’t quite like it at first.

I’ve asked myself this many a times.. if i am a leader or a follower..??

I then asked MrT if I am a leader or a follower..??? Guess what he said..?? What about you .. ?? are you a leader or a follower..??

There is nothing wrong being either a leader or a follower.. of course. Each plays it own role.. and own part.. without the other.. they cannot show their true identity nor can they excel.

Anyhow.. i know i’m not a follower for sure.. never have been .. and never will be. I am too opiniated ..and too headstrong and set in my ways. I don’t know if all these qualities are good or not. But i know that i’m a leader.. because i am very quick to act.. and giving solutions.. or finding one.. or what i like to call an alternative. I do not follow trend.. i like to do things uniquely… i am thrilled by the simplest things.. and i do not flaunt what i have.

I try to keep a low profile.. unfotunately.. that does not help abit.. coz’ ppl identify me quickly as the boss’s wife.. or the person-in-charge .. so it seems. Wherever i work.. i never tell anyone.. that i’m in charge or that i’m the boss… be it in the hotel.. or in the spanish company… but when ppl need things resolved or things to move.. they come to me.

If my juniors/employees have a problem.. they come to me .. to resolve them. My Director of Sales from the Asia Pacific Region. including those in Australia.. even my boss .. never question me.. when i asked them to verify their account expenses before i submit for them to HQ. Maybe that is why.. i am so brazen. .and bold.. and blunt when it comes to business..?? so is this being a leader..?? or being a bully..?? Hmmm.. a fine line isn’t it..??

Oh well.. i would like to think .. i’m not a follower because i’m one who faces any obstacles head on .. and not afraid of confrontation.. nor am i afraid to voice my opinion.

I can’t believed it.. when i saw our local supermarket, Superstore carrying Nori..!!! I was tempted to buy it.. but they were so expensive.!!! $8.00 for a small package. But i know before the week ends.. i will be crawling back.. and buying some.. hahha!! coz’ i’m greedy like that.. hahhaha!!!
But it is good to know that they do sell nori now..!! Now.. if only they sell sushi or sashimi..!!! now that’s something to look forward to.

My jeans bought today for $3.75. There was a 75% discount on jeans today and yesterday. I had told the cashier, Troy that they were at 75% discount.. but my spouse said.. i had said.. 75% discount on the already 50% discount.. so i got it for so cheap. But then i was sure .. i meant 75% and not otherwise.. and the cashier, Troy did look and read the flyer once more.. before punching in the numbers.. so it’s not my fault at all right..?? But i still feel bad.. that i got the jeans dirt cheap.

A new skirt and some shorts for Chloe to celebrate her 19 months old birthday.
The skirt was at $3.79 and shorts at $1.39 each. And yes.. i buy them only when they are on sale. I do not splurge on chloe’s clothings.. but shoes .. got no choice.. gotta buy good ones for her .. so that she gets good support.

Watched this yesterday nite while having KFC but i didn’t finish watching the movie. Lets just say .. it was more a MrT’s movie than mine.

I am..!! I cannot see or leave my asian food alone..! if i buy them.. i have to eat them .. right away..!! even though i already had dinner.. and salad.. but i cannot leave my asian food alone. I bought .. a box of butter curry with rice this evening.. and just a few mins ago.. i microwaved it.. and ate all of it.. not because i am hungry.. but because it’s curry..!!
So yes.. glutton i am..!!

My dearest Chloe,
Today you are 19months old. Another milestone not only for you .. my princess .. but for mummy too.
You are such a precious little thing…….. so funny.. and so cute.. most times….but you are also so clingy of late.. and even more so.. when daddy is home.
I love the way .. you eat your chocolates… and udon from a chopstick… sometimes.. you even play a good girl in the store.. by sitting on one of the shelves .. and wait for your chocolate to be handed to you.

You have grown so tall….. and reaching for things that you want from the kitchen table now. You are also so gibberish these days.. like you are asking us questions after questions.
The things you do sometimes.. just sents me and daddy laughing so hard.. like using a remote.. and trying to change channels .. or pulling both our hair/head .. so that you can see mummy and daddy kissing each other.
You’ve become so brave now.. that you wanna dash out onto the road…. when we are about to leave in the car… sending daddy into a frenzy.. trying to catch you before you reach the road.
You still do not sleep well at nite at 19months.. and even feeding you with more milk before you sleep doesn’t help put you to sleep the whole nite….. you still wanna wake up and have some more milky. And if mummy is the one waking up wtih you .. you are so clingy.. and refuses to sleep for at least an hour or more.
But never mind… mummy love you so much.. sweetheart… that all the deprivation of sleep is nothing… but sweetheart.. mummy want you to sleep thru’ the nite.. for your sake.. not only mine.. because you do need lots of sleep.. so that you can be healthy. You only take an hour and a half nap these days…. and you still refuses to go into your stroller.. so daddy have to bring you out for drives.. just to get you to go down for a nap. And today.. you refused to nap.. and tried to nap at 8pm and mummy had to wake you up .. so that you can sleep at a normal time tonite.
But you always behave yourself.. when you are outta the house.. and in the mall but when you are at the store.. or home.. you become really clingy and demanding and not allow mummy to do anything.
You are such a joy to visit for our customers .. when you are at the store.. for customers would plant heaps of praises for you.. from being pretty to cute.. and smart to chatty. Everyone thinks that you are such a smart and pretty kid and so healthy looking they say.
Today .. you had a plateful of udon and chicken with broccoli and no baby food for lunch . .but you took an hour to finish your lunch.. but that’s ok.. as long as you are trying to eat big gal’s food.. mummy will have all the patience to feed you .
My dear daughter, as i watch you grow everyday….. you bring so much joy into my life… and i thank God every single day for you .. and strive to be a better person for you.. my princess. I want you to know that .. nothing is more important to me. .than you are .. Chloe. And that you are loved by everyone.. daddy, grammie, grampie.. and of course mummy.. and everyone in the family.

It is so hot and humid right now.. it is so uncomfy…!! I hate it when it is like that… makes one feel so lethagic..!!

Not a bad movie at all.. with a different twist. A “Can” watch. Long movie though..!

I look at Chloe this evening .. while we were winding down.. and getting ready to put her to sleep.. and Chloe was bubbly.. and hyper still.. and rushing towards me.. and kissing me.. or bumming her head onto her personal sofa… that we bought for her. And the next minute.. she was up on the sofa with her daddy and then again climbing down within minutes.
And what i saw was a perfectly healthy.. and happy toddler… reaching all the milestones at her own pace.
So yes.. Chloe is growing up very nicely.. if i may say so myself.
Sure her sleeping habits are much to be desired…… and needs improving …. but other than that.. i think she is a normal toddler (can be monsterish at times )… and i love her with all my heart and every ounce of me.

I have a perfect partnership.. with my spouse for when i am doing the dishes.. he is folding the laundry.
When he vaccums .. i mop.
When i wash chloe’s bottles .. he will fill them up.
When i wake up with Chloe in the middle of the nite.. he lets me sleep in.
When it comes to ordering things for the business..i let him do his stuff.. and not interfere.
When i want the workers to do things .. like inventory.. he never say no.
I think we are slowly …. coming to terms.. with our role as parents and mate… and knows exactly what and when to do the appropriate things.

Not too bad at all. If you have got nothing to watch.. this is a “Can” watch for fun.

We’ve had this movie for a long time and this rents for .99 cents a nite at our store now .. because it is considered an old movie. I’m not one for “colored” movies .. if you know what i mean. But since it has babies in it.. and a customer had returned it when i was at the store on Saturday nite… i decided to bring it home to watch. And my verdict.. not too bad at all. A “Can” watch.

Penelope Cruz & Matthew Mcconaughey in this movie and it wasn’t bad at all. About treasure hunting .. very similar to National Treasure .. so if you liked National Treasure.. this is a can watch.

I swear ppl come up with new ways everyday .. to be stupid or dumb.

Customer : How much is it for renting DVDs now..?? (Sure sign that he is either new or no account with us)
Me : $2.50/nite
Customer : Oh good, she only wanted me to rent one because she didn’t think we had enough money.
Me : Ok! What’s your phone #
Customer : 7401234
Me : (Type in the #) Sorry, can’t find that #, do you have an account with us..??
Customer : Ahh.. no..!
Me : Then i need a piece of picture ID and a credit card from you to set up a new account.
Customer : I don’t have any ID with me.
Me : Then i’m afraid i can’t rent to you.
Customer : Ok (walk out of the store)

I don’t understand it.. ??!!!?? He wants to rent a movie.. with no account with us… and didn’t bring any ID to set up an account…???? What the hell was he thinking..???!!!?? That it was ok.. to let him have my movies.. without knowing who he is.. or where to find him.. if he doesn’t return my movies..???? I can’t believe it.. that anyone could be that dumb..!!!

Yes.. my heart melts .. when i see little children… so it’s a good thing .. that I have Chloe to dote on now.. otherwise.. i would just be doting on other people’s children… and then ppl like my neighbour would think i am strange..! hahah!!
And nope.. my spouse didn’t say a word.. when i was giving away.. his money.. to these cute children… he just let me be. Now isn’t that sweet of him..??? or what..???

I haven’t played phone slamming for a long, long time. Ever since coming to Canada.. in 2001. Before when my spouse and i had a long distance relationship.. i used to play phone slamming.. and my poor, poor spouse.. gotta call me back.. like a few times.. and donch you forget.. Long Distance .. hor.. means alot of money hor..!!
But yes.. he would call back faithfully.. and try to smooth things.. and all.
Today i slammed the phone down on my spouse.. because he had forgotten to come pick me and Chloe up to go to the store. We were all ready.. for an hour..and he still didn’t come get us. By then it was Chloe’s lunch time.. so i was fuming mad. But of course he came back immediately… and tried to smooth things too.
Yes.. yes.. i’m a bad person..!! afterall he was at work .. WORKING..!! yet i got mad. But i was mad.. because if he was busy.. he should have at least messaged me.. and not conveniently forget about us..!!!
Oh well.. what can i say.. i got mad.. because i got myself.. and chloe all ready.. and chloe was fussing.. and getting harder to keep her socks on.

Very good person .. from what i see. And deep down inside.. i think JR will make a really good b/f and husband material. But the boy sure like his toys.. I tell ya.. bought a 53″ TV from us.. a few years ago and didn’t stop for a min to think .. just bought it… as soon as he saw it.

Remember Ansley Elizabeth Guier..??? Princess of Tanya & Mitchel Guier. They were down the store today.. before going for the fireworks.. and Ansley is so CUTE..!!!! If you see her in person.. you would just wanna hug her.. tight. !!! Isn’t she pretty..??

The town was celebrating Seafest.. and we had fireworks tonite. We didn’t catch the first part of it.. because we were busy trying to close the store.. we had opened till last minute.. because of selling glow sticks. But we did catch the last 10mins of it.. but not all my pictures came out good. Bummer..!!

This is Shane, a very long time customer of ours. We’ve always like Shane .. coz’ he is funny and very easy-going. He looked scruffy today.. but he usually looks alot better than this, prolly tired from looking after his new born baby.

Godma Lynn came to visit all the way from Toronto and spent a few hours with Chloe.. playing with her and having a ball. Chloe had a ball with GrandAunt Helena too. Planted kisses on both Godma Lynn and Grand Aunt Helena today.
And Godma Lynn brought lots of presents for Chloe.. from clothings to toys. And of course.. the hand knitted bonnet, socks and gloves for Chloe during winter from Aunt Verna… she is 90 yrs old.
Thank you .. Aunt Verna.. i’m really touched.. by her kind gesture. I mean she is 90 yrs old.. and she was knitting for Chloe.. WoW!!! How cool can that get..?? !!! ??

My spouse woke me up.. at about 10am.. to inform me.. that he had already fed Chloe.. changed her poopie .. and got her juice, milk and snack ready .. and bringing her to work… so that i can sleep a few more hours.
Now isn’t that sweet or what..?? That was a really awesome thing he did.. coz’ i know he didn’t get alot of sleep either.. maybe 6hrs..?? prolly less.
So i am grateful that he did that.. and grateful that we own our own business for him to be able to do that.

What do one do.. when they can’t fall asleep…?? i play the millionaire game.. heheheh!!
I pretend i am a millionaire..and then go on to do stuff.. i would .. to improve my life.. and my environment.. and the business…. and that usually put me to bed quickly.. hahahah!!
Wierd woman eh..?? but every woman is entitle to some kinda dream right..??

Radio Shack in Canada is now call The Source.
Now owned by Circuit City Stores, Inc., and announced that on or before July 1, 2005, that it will re-brand all of its stores currently operated by InterTAN Canada Ltd., under license from RadioShack Corporation as THE SOURCE BY CIRCUIT CITY.
As far as i can see.. nothing has changed.. except the Management.. all the staff are still the same.. or at least the one here are.
We don’t really shop at Radio Shack coz’ we can get all our electronic stuff at agent prices… but once in a while.. it is good to check out the competition.

Chloe has been taking the remote.. outta nowhere.. and started pointing at the TV and pressing the remote.. just like what her daddy and i do.. hahha!!
It’s such a funny sight..!! she meant to show off i think.. but instead it looked so funny to us. Full of action … not a word..!!

My blood sugar went down today.. not to normal yet.. but half of what i had yesterday. So that was pretty good. I’m gonna have to watch what i’m eating and drinking from now on again.

I’ve been slacking in that area.. ever since i had Chloe… because when i had chloe.. my blood sugar was as normal as one can get. I know it is wierd.. for most ppl have their sugar level real high up there.. but nope.. not mine.
So after having chloe.. i have been slacking thinking that everything is back to normal. So when i started getting headaches for no reason.. i decided to check my blood sugar again.. and boy!! was i shocked..!! highest ever. But i’ve been back. and been drinking pepsi and eating ice-cream and banana .. almost every nite.
So no more pepsi.. and no more ice cream.. and no more bagel with light cream cheese.
What a bummer..!! Especially for one who eats everything moderately..!! except for durians of course..!!
